  Didn't hurt but didn't seem to help either.

  I bought the starter kit and was pretty disappointed overall. This product absorbed nicely into my skin, didn't irritate it. However, I can't say that my skin looked any better after using an entire container of this stuff. It also carries a hefty price tag for a drugstore brand. I've used the Regenerist line from Olay and ...I think they deliver better results at a lower cost. May 21, 2009, 1:11 pm

  Unconvinced It's Worth the Hype

  There was so much build up to this line's release, and I was incredibly excited at the prospect of low-priced skin care, available at Target and other mass retailers, with professional results. The first thing to disappoint me was the price point- it's comparable to department store prices. And, while I can't say that the... lotion did anything bad to my skin (aside from not providing sufficient hydration - I had to supplement with an extra emollient lotion to keep my skin from drying out) I'm just not impressed. I'll be interested to see what kind of long-term results are reported from fellow users. March 7, 2009, 3:34 pm

  This is probably the weakest product in the ProX line. I love the wrinkle smoothing cream and eye restoration complex, but this moisturizer lacks just that moisture. While the SPF 30 is nice, there is just not enough moisturizer in this product. It leaves my skin too dry. Makeup is hard to apply over it and flakes off. ... Next .. April 27, 2009, 8:24 pm

  Horrible

  I love SPF - the higher the better. I normally try to stay between 30-45 SPF, so I was happy to try this product out. When I used this lotion, it did not moisturize my skin, even a little - which is something I expect from something called "LOTION." I was also turned off by this product, because it began to irrate... my eyes when I applied it to my skin near, not IN my eyes. So I will not be using this product again. To be fair, I do have somewhat sensitive eyes, but you would not expect this from a product that is $40 or so dollars by itself. April 6, 2009, 3:30 pm

  Great Kit with Great Products!

  The smart people at Olay have been at it again, coming up with new products to help in the never ending fight in the anti-aging wars. Our newest ally in the fight would be their Olay Professional Pro X. I tried their kit which contains the following: Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30 [1.0 fl oz (30 ml)]. Wrinkle Smoothing... Cream [1.0 oz (28 g)]. Eye Restoration Complex [0.3 fl oz (9 ml)]. You can pick this starter kit up for approximately $58.99 - $62.99 in stores such as Wal-Mart, Target etc and you'll get a nice little bang for your buck. I used the products on clean skin, like this. The age repair (which is reported to be good for UV exposure, Skin dryness and Fine lines and wrinkle) lotion goes on clean skin every morning, followed by the Eye Restoration Complex which the company tells us will also help skin's dryness, Crow's feet, dark circles and eye puffiness. The night time Regimen includes the wrinkle Smoothing Cream (good for alleviating skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin texture) followed again with the Eye Restoration Complex. Following this routine for about two weeks should show you marked improvement in your skin if you had any of the above mentioned issues, although I would add these products would be a good addition to your beauty routine regardless because of their helpfulness with UV exposure. As for my personal findings, I enjoyed the rich, creamy consistency of each of the products. They all went on smoothly and felt good going on my face. They weren't sticky or goopy, nor did they feel like they sucked in so fast that I felt like a giant sponge creature inhabiting the bathroom. They had a slightly herbal smell which I prefer to the slightly medicinal retinol-type products that claim similar results. I tend to have dryer skin in the cheek/under eye area, and I found that I remained a little dry in that area, so had to add a little moisturizer to that area under my make-up, but that would not deter me from using these products. Anyway, overall, after the trial period, my skin felt very soft and generally, better than it did before I started using the products. I would definitely give them a thumbs up and would recommend them to anyone who might be concerned with smoothing any fine lines or wrinkles that might be starting. The fact that the size products in the starter kit are all 1 oz or under, make them perfect for travel too, a nice perk. February 17, 2009, 6:53 pm

  I couldn't believe my eyes!

  After trying many skin care brands, at many different price points,after 10 days my friends were asking me "what I had done". Then when I checked myself in a stronger mirror, I saw a decrease in pore size, softer, more hydrated skin and a decrease in fine lines around my eyes. After all this time and money it took...   Great hype though. I bought the starter kit. I think they are good for a drugstore brand but there are other Olay products that work as well and with a lower price. I wasn't impressed. Though I think they are nicely formulated in that they absorb well and aren't greasy feeling. What were they thinking?? April 17, 2009, 1:38 am

  while this was the one Pro X product that didn't give me issues, i didn't find this to be anything too extraordinary. it wears well under makeup, and the fact that it contains spf 30 is very good. April 14, 2009, 5:29 pm
