I have tried quite a few different powders and more often than not I do not like them because they end up just making my skin look dry but I had no such problem with this powder! It is my new fav, I love the way it lays on my skin and how it makes my skin look. Most powders are drying or make your skin look super dry. However, Halo doesn't leave my skin with that dry or dull look to it. This is like a mini miracle. Even though there is a limited amount of colors, it matches my skin. I have a hard time matching my skin with the BE powder. I wear Smashbox's Sheer Tint underneath this and a light dusting of Halo and I never look like I have caked on makeup. I still wear moisturizer underneath because there is no SPF in this. Even though the price tag is very steep, I really love this and the price is well deserved. I have dry skin, and this gives me luminous (not cakey) coverage. I do not prefer the brush it comes with... I like BE's full kabuki brush, but this is not a review on the brush. I love the finely milled powder... not too much at first.. you can always make more. Unlike some other mineral powders, this doesn't make my face itch. Bonus!
