Great product for makeup beginners
The thing I love most about this starter kit is that it really teaches you how to apply makeup in an essentially fool-proof and flawless way. If you're a beauty beginner or someone who isn't very good at applying foundation, this product will revolutionize your look and your beauty routine...But, if you're a makeup pro and are already great at applying foundation/achieving an air-brushed look, thi...read mores product won't impress you because you're already great at doing makeup in a way that works for you. As someone who rarely wore foundation and had blah results anytime I did branch out and wear liquid foundations, this product was a god-send. It feels light, isn't obvious I'm wearing makeup, and makes my skin look flawless and radiant. This kit comes with a pretty big price tag, though, so I wouldn't recommend it to someone on a tight budget...If you can't afford the kit, buy cheaper mineral makeup, primer, and brushes, and teach yourself how to apply it by taking advantage of the application info you can get from the infomercials and girls in the store...After all, I really do think the makeup application lessons are the most valuable things BareMinerals has to offer. If you're able to spend the money on the starter kit, that's great and I think you'll be happy with your purchase. It's not all it's cracked up to be..
It's good, don't get me wrong.. it's just not Great like the commercials and infomercials claim. I got this hoping that it would 'change the way I looked at makeup' but it didn't. The concealer left my under eyes looking cakey, the blush disappeared and the warmth is much too dark. The only thing that I'm still using is the bare radiance. Simple and nautural
I love the convenience of having the 5-piece kit. When I put on the bareMineral It feels like you don't have anything on, that's how lite it is on your skin. I don't need to put makeup afterwards, it looks so natural on me. I wake up in the morning...poof 5 simple steps and I'am out the dooor. This is the cheapest way to get started with BareMinerals. The quantity of product lasts a long time. goodbye globby foundations, hello light and airy powders
I bought this because I was hate wearing liquid foundation on my skin. I want something light and airy and I found it. The summers here are very hot and humid, so I didn't want anything that feels heavy. I almost always forget I have it on, except I can see the coverup results in the mirror. The powder is very easy to apply. I have also found that a little goes a long way. It is a great product!
