    Not bad...

    by MunecaBella (6 reviews)
I saw these for $10 so I had to try it... I was very surprised on how well it worked (on thin hair that is)... arm hair, thin leg hairs, etc. it will work. It is completely painless which is a plus. I would recommend it when you're in a rush, forgot to shave/wax and need it done quickly (basically it's a good "dry shav...e" replacement) However I wouldn't replace it with shaving/waxing because it's not 100% perfect, but definitely good to have around! It is only SANDPAPER

    by tuscola64 (4 reviews)
These companies make miracle claims for products like this ( which have actually been on the market for years), and the pad are just very micro-grit sandpaper. You can go buy some fine sandpaper at Lowe's and get the same affect for about 1/10th the price. February 4, 2009, 12:16 pm

    Better then hair removing creams

    by sahreens (2 reviews)
This is the best product for people who don't like facial wax. I am using this product and it works fine for me. I usually use it on face. it is a quick fix if you don't have enough time to exfoliate or remove hair. I keep one in my purse in case of emergencies. Tip: when use this product apply a light moisturizer or gel t...o minimize the skin dryness. March 12, 2009, 6:36 am

    i'm not satisfied

    by angela84 (2 reviews)
i tried it on my bikini area and it took forever (i didn't have that much hair) i couldn't even get it all off and i got red spots like from razor the next day and my hair started growing back. basically just like a razor except it takes much longer. i have yet to try it on my legs but so far i'm not satisfied and i wouldn'...t use it on sensitive skin. don't put yourself through the pain

    by LaVerned (1 review)
This is one of the worst products I've ever tried. It irritated my upper lip so much it took a few days to heal. I immediately returned it and still see it advertised every month in all my magazines. I can't believe it works for anyone. May 4, 2009, 6:02 am

It works well for me, but it takes time.

    by AuNaturally (6 reviews)
I've used this as a replacement for shaving (egs) for the entire month of April and I was not disappointed. I like the product and it works exactly how it is advertised. After a month of using the product, I was in a rush so I shaved my legs instead of using Smooth Away. My legs were smooth for days instead of just one day.... The product definitely helps shaving results last longer, but takes forever to use. Kind of gives my arms a workout. Haha. I will still purchase it in the future. The only cons I found was that if you are not careful or your skin is sensitive, the abrasion from the product can cause irritation and maybe even the slightest bleeding. Also, I don't know if refills are sold or if the entire package has to be bought again. May 4, 2009, 1:54 am

    Do •NOT• waste your money.

If you'd like a good,non-irratiting WORKING product, Don't look here. I bought this at Kohls' for 10 dollars, my mom wanted to give it a shot too. I have very thin hair on my underarms + legs, and it took me about 20 minutes to do ONE leg. I wouldn't reccomend this to ANYONE. It hardly worked, but it worked for my mom,so ev...eryone is different. March 2, 2009, 4:13 pm

    Waste of $10

    by ahilario80 (7 reviews)
I remember in the 90's there was a product with the same concept (different brand) and it was EXCELLENT at removing hair. The pads would last for months before having to change them. Then they were discontinued and back to razors I went. So, when I saw the TV ad for this a few months ago, I was wondering if it was going to... work as well. So, I purchased it at CVS for $10. The product claims that each pad lasts about 3 complete hair removals for both legs. I got home, set up the pad and rubbed...and rubbed...and rubbed. Yes, some hair did come off, but then the pad wore out before I could finish my leg (calf/shin). So, I replaced the pad and finished the leg. I started working on the other leg...the pad once again was worn out. I replaced the pad AGAIN, and could only get half of the other leg done before I gave up and chucked the waste of cash in the trash. Not worth my money. It's probably great for ladies with very fine, baby thin hair, but anything thicker just can't be beat. May 4, 2009, 6:43 am

    I remember this!

    by Angela260 (5 reviews)
I actually like this product. This is what my mom gave me to use on my legs when I was a pre-teen before I started shaving my legs. I have been looking for it for a year and just bought it this week for my daughter. I plan on keeping one in my pocketbook for myself on those weird days when you look down on you own legs and ...noticed that you missed a spot! The pink handle thingy is nice too.
