I have always really liked L'Oreal's mascaras. This one is no exception. The brush was a little tricky at first, but I grew accustomed to it pretty quick. The formula isn't too thick or too thin, and it really enhaced my own lashes nicely. It wore very well, no flaking, no smudging. I love the formula of the Telescopic mascara. I bought this because I figured with the name "carbon black" I'd get the darkest black lashes. I did and my lashes were long. But the brush, which has four rows of bristles in a square shape, was terrible. My lashes clumped together, too much mascara was put on, and uneven application. A eyelash comb was needed. I loved almost everything about this mascara! It really delivers on dark, super black pigmentation and will really elongate your lashes which is great normally, but I look for mascaras that add more volume because i already have really long curly lashes. It does add some volume and it never clumped on my lashes, but it wasn't really as much as I would have liked. l'oreal owns lancome. so if you like lancome's mascara which is what they're mainly known for l'oreal is extremely comparable! this is seriously my favorite mascara. i've tried a ton of drugstore & a good amount of high end brands, but i continue to go back to this one! i'm one for fanned out, long, dramatic, black lashes & telescopic does the trick for my peepers :] plus, it doesn't clump & doesn't flake on me — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

This mascara gives me the longest eyelashes of any other mascara I have ever used. I already have long lashes, so I am very impressed. The brush took a little getting used to. I had to work with it a few times before I got the hang of it, but once I did... AMAZING! I have very oily skin, but this doesn't seem to run or flake. Note: that this is a lengthen mascara, do not use it to build volume. If you try and use it that way it will get super clumpy on you.
