The darker colors in this palette are great for achieving the smokey eye look. The green, blue, purple and burgundy are not as colorful as you'd think. They come out dark and smokey, closer to black. The light colors are very shimmery, so you need very little for highlighting. However the shadows are flaky and hard to blend, so make sure to use a primer or shadow intensifier. The face colors are made for someone with fair skin, and won't show up on medium skin tones. I have light-medium skin tone, and I LOVE the assorted colors and easy to carry around palette that Pop has come out with. I don't suggest using the brushes it comes with, but as for all of the colors in the kit, I am in love. They are sparkly shimmery little gems and have lasted me a good long time so far. I use the two bronzer/highlighter shades as contours for my cheekbones and nose, and although with those I have had to re-apply, I like the results.
