At first I wasn't sure about trying a cleanser in a powder format, however it turns out that I love it more than any other cleanser I've tried. This stuff is totally portable and leaves no leaky messes in your bag. It is already helping my acne-prone skin. My skin is becoming more and more even toned every time I use this cleanser. Normally my face was red, bumpy and totally broke out. Great Product
I have occasional bouts of acne and have been trying every acne cleanser under the sun which left my skin dry and irritated (and probably contributed to more breakouts). Since I was already a big fan of the BE products, I decided to give this a try. It is such a gentle cleanser and did not leave my face red or irritated. My skin is pretty sensitive and I've used a lot of cleaners that have cleared my breakouts, but then have made my skin really dry. This cleanser has not only managed to clear my breakouts but has also kept my skin from drying out. It has the ingredients to keep the skin moisturized while you cleanse. I was hesitant to use this product - especially after seeing the powdery granules when i first opened it. But what a great product!!! I have had problems with break-outs recently - didn't know it could happen to a women in her 40's. This cleanser does not over dry my skin - leaves it feeling velvety soft with a glow from the really deep cleanse. What's more, it has improved the look of my skin too. sophisticated and luxurious!
I needed to switch skin care regimes from Proactiv - I had some acne problems in my early-mid-20's that didn't respond to anything else. I'm only a couple days in, but so far I'm completely hooked! This cleanser is wonderful!! It's fun to mix it up each time in my hands, and I like being able to make it thicker or more watery depending on how my skin's feeling that day. I have combination skin, so having options is a beautiful thing! I don't think it's as cumbersome or complicated as some reviews elsewhere claim it to be (I've used it in the shower and at the sink without incident), and frankly, I don't mind the smell at all. It's not offensive in the least - it may not smell like flowers, but it works, and a little straightforward effectiveness without the added fragrance is luxurious in itself. My skin feels clean and not oily afterward, and its gentle but cleans well. The packaging is slick and the naturalness of the mineral mix feels like a good choice for my skin. It's a little expensive, but I'd rather pay a little bit more for a product that works than mess around with drug store brands that are cheaper and all do the same thing (without really doing it well. I've played around with many before, it's wasteful and annoying).
