Not Worth the Money
I bought this a few months back and had such high hopes based on various reviews. Unfortunately, it was just ok. I think if it weren't so expensive I would feel much better about it but $200 is way too much. Maybe it's worth $50. Totally worth the money!!
I purchased this gem about 3 months ago, and I can't live without it! My second job is at a bar, and this takes the cake as far as getting all of the gunk and grime out of my pores! Good product
I've used this product for a few months now. It does get skin cleaner than manual washing. I haven't noticed an actual size difference in my pores, but they're cleaner therefore less noticeable. My lotions do absorb better since I've been using this brush. The design is good and that fact that I can take it into the shower is a plus. I think it's a little over priced. LOVE IT
I have been using my clarisonic for almost 3 months and I love it. I have a lot of issues with my skin and never been really happy with the results with my skincare. This has changed that. My skin is much more even, it has helped keep more pores clear and blackheads at bay. My breakouts have cut down dramatically, and my dermatitis has also reduced. I like this product because you can use whatever cleanser you want and not one specified from a specific line. This is also wonderful for aging skin. My mom got one the same day I did. She saw results with in a couple of weeks, because her anti-aging treatments could penatrate into her skin much more effectivly. It has helped her cut down on her facials and micro dermabrasions. Which has actually helped her save money. Who knew that investing in a $200 brush could have actually already save her $200. My FAVE of 2008.
I use the Clarisonic twice a day. In the shower in the morning: I apply a pea sized dot of Philosophy’s Purity Cleanser in the center of the brush and start the brush up. I use it for one minute on my face and then another minute on my neck and chest. At night, after I remove my eye makeup, I use another dot of cleanser, usually Purity, but if I feel I am needing extra moisture, I might use a more creamy cleanser. I use the brush over my face for just a minute again, but skip the neck and chest as it is too messy to do that out of the shower. Now, it could just be me, but I swear that my skin serums and moisturizers work much better too. Love this, it's the Sonicare for your skin!
True, this is not really "needed" in your everyday life. But, I could feel a difference in my skin after just a few uses! My skin is smoother (it does lightly exfoliate your skin), tone is more even and all my rough areas are much better! This works with pretty much every cleanser you could buy, it just needs to be thick enough to work with the bristles. It's only been a week, but . . .
I ran to the mall today without makeup (just my normal routine of serums and moisturizers). I have been using the clarisonic system for 6 or 7 days now, and thought my face looked clear and fresh. When I asked the specialist at my favorite makeup counter to try some colors on me, her first comment was how soft my skin felt. Don't know that I've ever had that compliment given to me before. I have good skin and use good products on my face, and thought the clarisonic cleaner would be a good addition to my regiment. With only a week under my belt, I'm very happy. Of course, time will tell more, but I like the fact that it is supposed to make the skin more receptive to the serums and vitamins you apply topically. Still not convinced for $200
I had a colleague whom swore by the Clarisonic. I love my Sonicare toothbrush and what it's done for my smile, so why not for my face? Well, I could do a lot with $200...but I decided to take the plunge. After using this for 2 days, I'm still not convinced my skin has made a huge transformation.
