Wonderful

by Llisa2 (93 reviews)
If I could I would give Velvet Skin Coat 20 stars. It is a very good, easy to use very nicely priced product! I use to use a similar product from Neutrogena that is no longer made, & I was lost. Then somehow I received in the mail a sample and catalog from DHC. I am so happy! This is my daily staple in my routine, it makes my skin look flawless, it control oil better than anything out there, it works under makeup over makeup, alone. It just simply is wonderful and $20.00. I only wish it was available at stores. But with every order you can get free samples, which is sweet.08/07/2008

      Flawless Skin Every Time

This is the absolute best product for people who want flawless skin. It's a bit odd to use at first. It's like rubbing velvet over your skin. But believe me, a little bit goes a long way. It works best for me under my base makeup. I have very deep pores around my t-zone area, especially on my nose. This helps to keep those areas looking flawless. I've also found this works great under your makeup in areas where you have blemishes, scabbed over areas, or dry rough patches. It helps to keep makeup from caking up in those areas. If there was one product I couldn't live without outside of my regular makeup routine, this is it! October 7, 2008, 5:20 pm

      So Smooth...

      by Sheila1205 (43 reviews)
I love this product. I have fair/combo skin. I use it under my makeup and it controls oil/shine all day. It leaves my face smooth and fills in pores. I doesn't break my face out, and the price is nice too! August 9, 2008, 12:44 pm

October 3, 2008, 9:06 pm I am always on the quest for the perfect oil control makeup primer and this product definitely doesn't control oil. I do have to admit that my makeup went on very smoothly compared to other primers, but again it didn't do anythinf for control of excess oil. It would probably work wonderful for someone with normal skin, but if I had normal skin I wouldn't use a primer. To be fair I don't think this product actually says its for oil control, but I just don't want anybody wasting their money if they are looking an oil control primer. October 3, 2008, 9:06 pm

      • Manufacturer's Product Description

      • Prime time. Once you slide this inconspicuous primer between your skin and your foundation, you’ll never know how you lived without it. It evens out coverage by filling creases and fine lines, and smoothing over rough patches so your face appears flawless. The unique texture of this powdery gel is unlike anything you’ve ever felt—it’s not sticky or greasy. With its ability to keep oil restrained, you’ll even forget there was such a thing as blotchy, sliding makeup. Not for use with lip makeup.
      • Directions

      • After cleansing, toning, and moisturizing, apply 2-3 drops to fingertips. Spread evenly over entire face, concentrating on areas of concern, including fine lines, rough patches, and visible pores. When absorbed, you’ll feel a smooth, velvety finish. Apply makeup as usual.
