I have been disappointed by primers in the past so I was skeptical of this one as well, despite some rave reviews I saw. I got a small sample of this from Sephora with a purchase that allowed me two uses of the product. I was amazed when I sampled this primer! After finishing the sample, I picked up the full size. The product is oil free, but still suitable for my combo/dry skin. It helped my Chanel Vitalumiere foundation from getting too glowy or settling into lines and/or dry patches. This primer also works especially wonderfully with my Laura Mercier mineral powder foundation. This is just a quality product that delivers on exactly what it says it will.
