Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer Reviews

Velvety smooth primer
I have been disappointed by primers in the past so I was skeptical of this one as well, despite some rave reviews I saw. I got a small sample of this from Sephora with a purchase that allowed me two uses of the product. I was amazed when I sampled this primer! After finishing the sample, I picked up the full size. The product is oil free, but still suitable for my combo/dry skin. It helped my Chanel Vitalumiere foundation from getting too glowy or settling into lines and/or dry patches. This primer also works especially wonderfully with my Laura Mercier mineral powder foundation. This is just a quality product that delivers on exactly what it says it will. The product glides on beautifully and is vegan to boot! — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

No thanks - makeup settles into lines
I like that this product has SPF and it is silky upon application. However, later in the day, it completely fails. Makeup settles into my lines (even worse than normal). — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 7 people said helpful

Hours for results?
I've heard such great things from reviews of this product. So naturally I had high expectations. While application was easy, I felt as if the primer felt like baby powder on my skin. Maybe this would be favorable to some, but as for myself it was not the kind of smoothness I was expecting. Mineral Veil also promised to help diminish redness, which it failed to do. Overall I did not like this product. I will stick with my Dior Skinflash Primer instead. Less money and better results. — 7 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
