gets rid of acne

this product cleanses and it got rid of 75% of my pimples in a matter of 5 days. its so quick i think it did it once in 3 days. i just dont like that it makes my combo skin feel dry and tight. my sister doesnt feel it though, so it might just be my skin type. — 3 years, 10 months ago

Overall Good Cleanser

This cleanser smells fab, helps clear up my acne and keeps me from feeling oily throughout the day. It has a different texture than other cleansers that I've used, but it foams up and takes off all of makeup. My skin feels soft, smooth and refreshed, not tight or dry like with other acne washes. — 2 years, 6 months ago

Salicylic acid irritating you? Not here. At least, not for me. I felt like it made my skin feel clean, rinsed off the makeup, deposited the acne medication without any nuisances like those awful smells and sans the overdrying. It's a great cleanser. This is a good acne wash, decent price and has Salicylic acid to keep acne at bay. It is drying so should be paired with a moisturizer if you have combo skin. I only have breakouts occasionally so I found this too harsh for everyday use, but also felt like it didn't leave my skin feeling absolutely clean. The texture is fine, but I think some of Clearasil's other cleansers are more effective and nicer to use. — 2 years, 9 months ago

Greasy!

I was surprised with this cleanser - in a bad way! After each use it made my skin feel greasy all day. When I first started using it, my skin broke out right away. I thought that maybe it was one of those things that brings out the acne and then clears it, but my skin didn't clear until two weeks later when I STOPPED using it. I usually have dry skin, oily only near the nose area, so it makes no sense to me why it made my face feel greasy. — 8 months, 1 week ago

Not as good as Clearasil Ultra cleanser/mask

I like this one but I prefer the version that's also a mask because it feels creamier and more moisturizing to me. Still, this stuff won't leave your face feeling dry or tight even if you have skin that's a little dry/sensitive. That being said it's not as good as the cleanser/mask that's available in this line so I can't give it as many stars. If you want a face wash that aggressively attacks acne and clears it up in no time, the Clearasil Ultra line of products is the way to go. — 9 months, 2 weeks ago

Helps with acne

This used to be my regular face wash and helped clear my skin a lot. I wouldn't say it clears acne completely in three days like it says on the bottle, but you definitely notice a difference in three days, signaling that you're on the way to recovery.
