This is a good to see if you like Pur Minerals. On the other hand, go to Sephora or ULTA and test it on bare skin before buying. That is the safest way to proceed. It is a little pricey for a starter kit.

Best Mineral Makeup Product

I like mineral makeup because I break out often. After I started using this product, I noticed a huge difference in my face clearing up. I break out less often and it doesn't give a weird finish that other mineral makeups can. I am Asian Indian, so it is very hard to find the “right” color makeup for my skin. It can be built up to give more coverage, or it can be used as a sheer everyday cover up. I also like this product because it doesn’t come off at the end of the day, like other mineral makeups can. I bought the starter kit, which includes bronzer, primer, a the mineral makeup brush. The mineral makeup brush that it came with is amazing! It gives an airbrushed look and I even use it with other powders to give my skin a flawless finish. If you want a more heavy coverage, I would highly recommend using the primer from pur. I use it all over my eyelid, and face, and it works beautifully with the mineral makeup to make it last longer. The only bad thing that I can say about this product is that sometimes a film can produce on the makeup which will not allow the product to be absorbed by the brush. What I do to fix this, is to scratch the film off, which allows it to turn to powder again, and then I use the excess makeup on my skin. Once the film is gone, the brush will be able to absorb the product. However, the film will produce again. I’m not sure what allows the mineral to become so hard that no product will come out, but this makeup product truly is amazing.

Perfect Little Kit

This kit comes with their AWESOME 4-in-1 mineral makeup, and the chisel brush to apply it. It also comes with the mineral bronzer (which I love) and the mineral blush (which I also love!). If you have never used Pur Minerals before, this is a great kit for you. It gives you three of their main items for a great price. Believe me, if you try this kit, you will be hooked on their brand.

luved the blush...

i bought the kit to try the product. i loved the blush as the color worked well for me. the foundation was ok color-wise, but seemed to make my skin look flaky-dry. maybe it is because i am not used to all-over foundation? i never opened the bronzer, as i don't ever put foundation/powder on my neck, and it was uber dark loking. i wear the tan colour, and it still seemed a bit dark to me, but it w...read moreas better than the colour below it. i prefer a natural look and typically only use these products in my undereye and nose area to evenout minor redness in the area. the products all have a bizarre smell though. i wondered if it was just my nose, or my particular set, so i smelled the testers at the shoppers drug mart, and they smelled the same! is it just the minerals they are using? the bare minerals do not smell at all...hmm also, my brush shed bristles from the first use! i found this above all to be most annoying, and the deal breaker, since it was largely part of why i bought the set in the first place. so i returned the set. i almost kept it just for the blush, but i'll keep searching. doesn't anyone else smell that? lol

Ehh

Every foundation option seems to hate my South Asian skin tone and Pur Minerals is no exception. With their low variety of shade options every tan to dark shade gave me a ghostly appearance. Not worth the money they ask for. The 4-1 foundation cracked my first day and ive had to repress it about 4 times since then it just wont hold. The blush I like...It seems appropriate for any skin tone rea...read morelly...The bronzer was a bit useless for me seeing that I was darker than all of their options...My absolute favorite of this box set was teh brush! I LOVE IT! If for any other reason to not feel like an idiot for wasting 40 bucks on this it was the brush. a good dupe would be the japonesque mineral powder brush....

Wasn't a bad deal

Have tried Pur kit and Bare Escentuals mineral makeup kit. The only thing I didn't like about Pur were the brushes. Bare Escentuals brushes were a million times better. The Bare Escentuals kit costs more but it was worth it to me. The Pur mineral makeup is solid which was a little easier to apply than the loose Bare Escentuals foundation.

I love this kit

I bought this to experiment with and it works great! My skin color had gotten a little uneven over the years and this kit smoothed it all out and my face looks flawless again. The kit has everything you need and at $35.00 it's worth every penny. You should really try it and you'll agree.

A make-up without all of the MAKE-UP!!

This product is GREAT! I have many freckles and a few blemishes and the foundation does a wonderful job of blending away the imperfections while still giving you the light feel of a powder. This foundation lasts all day, too! I used to be a clinique wearer and for the same price, I can get a makeup that I feel comfortable in. Great value!

LOVE THIS

This product is great. I bought this starter kit first from Ulta. I don't like bronzer so it's the only thing I didn't use out of this kit. The foundation covers amazingly! I have freckles acne scars and I'm fair on top of it this stuff covers better than a liquid. The blush is fantastic too its very natural looking. The only problem is that its hard to find large sizes of these products, the Ulta store by me doesn't sell the full size so you have to order it online.
