Loved it!
by mischobeauty (31 reviews)Total Beauty BloggerTrusted ReviewSo everyone knows how much I love serums if you've been keeping up with the blog. After seeing the new ad campaign for L'Oreal's Skin Genesis featuring Penelope Cruz, and her flawless skin, I finally decided to try the Daily Treatment Serum Concentrate. It's formulated to strengthen and tone skin cells, and brighten your co...mplexion. It also contains an anti-aging molecule called Pro-Xylane. Since I was formally trained as a chemist, I can truly appreciate the fact that L'Oreal uses an environmentally safe process called Green Chemistry to extract Pro-Xylane from the beech wood plant. Pro-Xylane is easily absorbed into the environment- non-toxic and biodegradable. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this product. For me to try a new product, means incorporating it into my skincare regimen, which means I'm substituting it for something I'm already in love with. I have normal skin, with an oily t-zone, and I'm cautious about trying new products. I've been using this serum at night and every morning I've been running to the bathroom to see the results. Visible results every morning! Soft, smooth and glowing skin! It's an excellent drugstore brand and I recommend it! L'Oreal's Skin Genesis Daily gets my "Sexy, Healthy, Beautiful" stamp of approval! Looking Good!
by glossypink (29 reviews)Total Beauty BloggerThe Daily Treatment Serum Concentrate claims to work deep within skin's surface to help promote elasticity and boost collagen, and, on the surface layer, to rid fine lines and hydrate. While I'm skeptical as to how deep this serum actually goes, whatever it's doing, I like it a lot. This serum has definitely evened my skin... tone, which has always been my main concern. It didn't take long to see these results, either--just a few days. My skin looks bright and even, and feels healthy and hydrated. I would even say that yes, my skin is more elastic. Plus, just using the serum and foregoing any anti-acne treatments has kept me break-out free. July 14, 2008, 8:19 pm4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Best Anti-Aging Serum Under $20!
by Frappelattes (28 reviews)I love the Serum and Moisturizer combo! L'Oreal Skin Genesis Serum leaves my skin silky-smooth, but not just emollient-silky -- the skin on my face is visibly resurfaced and feels baby-smooth to the touch. July 11, 2008, 12:35 pm4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

fabulous serum!
by beauty_girl_musings (105 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTotal Beauty BloggerTrusted Reviewit's different from other serums that i have used in the past. it isn't thick or greasy-feeling whatsoever. it takes less than a minute to absorb, and two pumps is enough to cover my face, neck and decolletage (because it all needs to be treated the same). have been using it for the past three weeks and my skin looks amazin...g! i didn't have any wrinkles to start with, but my skin is brighter, smoother and more even toned. i use it twice a day and my skin looks so alive. it was a little dull-looking from being tired, and this serum has changed that! for the price (around $20), this serum is definitely worth it and then some! who knew a drugstore serum could be this effective? it's fabulous! A Nice Lightweight Serum
by glamourbee (2 reviews)Total Beauty BloggerThe packaging on this product says "multi-layer cell strengthening skincare." I don't know how interesting this sounds to you, but for me, a woman past the age of 35, anything with "cell strengthening" in its ad copy gets a second look from me and I was anxious to try it. The problem I have with most an...ti-aging products is that they are too oily and/or heavy for my skin. While my skin is aging, it is still rather oily and it is always a challenge to find lightweight, oil-free products that are also anti-aging products. I believe I have found the solution with this product. It is lightweight and it doesn't leave me wanting to reach for the blotting paper. I only used it for a week so, at this point I cannot say whether or not it makes my skin look younger, but after passing my initial test, it definitely deserves more consideration. I will continue using it and I look forward to seeing some results! June 16, 2008, 9:30 am4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

its a mystery
by corizotti (538 reviews)Top 10 ReviewerTrusted Reviewi am usually pretty skincare savvy, but i still have no idea what it is about this serum that works so well. it goes on amazingly light, absorbs so fast and wont irritate even just-peeled skin, but it really made a difference in the smoothness and plumpness of my skin. i feel like it really does look more even and younger! ...ive used this almost a year now and i dont plan on stopping. it fits seemlessly into my regime. what can i say? it works for me. my skin looks better. whats that worth? Amazed!
by chinasmom2000 (6 reviews)I am truly amazed by this product! I am a pretty cheerful person but I have deep "smile lines" that, along with the slant of my mouth, make me look like I'm wearing a permanent frown; something that's always bothered me. I used this product twice a day for a couple of weeks and was astonished at how my lines dim...inished! After about three weeks of using it twice a day I cut back to once a day with little or no reduction of results. I know that this product doesn't claim to reduce deep lines, but it certainly is doing wonders for me. It is also very light and is perfect for wearing under makeup. This one is well worth trying, ladies! July 10, 2008, 7:52 am3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

On my Favorites List
by marta100 (33 reviews)Total Beauty BloggerL'Oreal Skin Genesis Serum Concentrate was packaged nicely in a silver sleek bottle, and dispensed the serum easily without any mess. The actual serum feels wonderful on the skin. When I put it on my skin it felt invigorated and soothed. The results versus the claims the package made matched when it comes to making my skin ...a bit smoother to touch and texture. I can't quantify how much my skin actually built strength and elasticity, and produced collagen, but I did feel my skin seemed more resilient and firm. Ladies, this concentrate is a great value for money. You don't need to spend lots of cash or travel far to get a great serum like L'Oreal's Skin Genesis Serum Concentrate (only $19.99). L'Oreal did a fabulous job in creating a product that uses the latest skincare technologies. This serum, however, is scented lightly. Although I would much prefer it was completely fragrance-free the scent didn't bother my very sensitive nose too much. The scent is not too strong and overpowering, so I can live with it. I don't know, thinking too hard? I can really tell a difference, I think they are going away! I love that it has hydorlouranoc acid = tons of mois...ture!
