Blistex Silk & Shine blends together the best qualities of balms and glosses. It has SPF protection and silk extracts, plus vitamins A, B5 and E to moisturize. Lips feels soft and look healthy no matter how dry they were to begin with. It also has the shine factor of a gloss, but without the accompanying stickiness. You may feel silly using a lip balm as makeup, but the color-free shine and healthy look is the perfect pairing for dramatic eye makeup.

It's the only chapstick I have tried that isn't waxy and thick; and it even has SPF! Oh, and the scent is great--light and slightly fruity. Wow the perfect lip balm!

It's pretty cheap, never over 5 dollars for 2 tubes, has a fruity smell, has SPF 15, and looks natural. The shine is very subtle, and your lips feel soft and great. The balm doesn't gather up in the corner of your lips like many other l...ip products, and your hair won't stick to your mouth either! It lasts a pretty long time unless you eat or drink, but it feels so nice you won't mind spending 10 seconds to apply it again. It's pretty light but packs in so much work. The tube is a little bigger than a normal chapstick tube but that's a small issue.

It Really Is Silky and Shiny

Unfortunately, I didn't like the smell, and it wasn't heavy enough to have my lips feel protected as they would with a lip balm. Nonetheless, it does feel nice on. Affordably great!
by nicci4694 (25 reviews)It's winter and I've been on a lip moisturizer tear. This product was a great surprise. It's super cheap, melts into your lips and leaves very little greas behind. I love the fact that its in a lipstick like tube, not a normal chapstick tube. The formula is amazing! Its not thin, not think, it really is silky and does give your lips an amazing s...hine. It gives your lips a porcelein look without the goopyness and stickyness of a lip gloss. It also has a tiny tiny bit of shimmer in it. The smell is amazing, a really light fruity smell. I used this as a daily lip conditioner, morning afternoon and night. My lips conditioned has improved since using this product, I've been using this for over 4 years. I HIGHLY recommend it!! the steel ball applicator is different

I like the scent, but it didn't last long enough when I put it on.
