Blistex Silk & Shine blends together the best qualities of balms and glosses. It has SPF protection and silk extracts, plus vitamins A, B5 and E to moisturize. Lips feels soft and look healthy no matter how dry they were to begin with. It also has the shine factor of a gloss, but without the accompanying stickiness. You may feel silly using a lip balm as makeup, but the color-free shine and healthy look is the perfect pairing for dramatic eye makeup.

    I love this stuff!

    I really like this chapstick. It is very lightweight and smooth and leaves your lips soft and slightly glossy which is nice from a chapstick. It's the only chapstick I have tried that isn't waxy and thick; and it even has SPF! Oh, and the scent is great--light and slightly fruity. A May 8, 2008, 1:47 pm

    I love it. It has the perfect shine, with spf and really moisturizes my lips. The cheap tube lasts a long time and so does the balm! It makes the perfect nude lip color! But it doesn't really glide over my lips. May 13, 2008, 10:36 am

    It Really Is Silky and Shiny

    I liked this product because it did, indeed, leave my lips soft, silky, and shiny. I tended to use it more as a lip gloss than a lip balm. Unfortunately, I didn't like the smell, and it wasn't heavy enough to have my lips feel protected as they would with a lip balm. Nonetheless, it does feel nice on. April 21, 2008, 9:32 am

    Works well and is reasonably priced

    This product does what it says, it leaves your lips feeling silky and smooth. I found that this product works much better than similar products, such as Nivea Lip care products, which don't last very long and have no pleasant scent.     Perfect for low maintenance healthy lips!

    I have a huge problem with dry, chapped lips, but prefer the look of a slightly shiny lipgloss to lipbalm. This product combines the best of both words flawlessly! October 2, 2008, 11:37 am

    Blistex Silk&Shine is the best under or by itself chapstick anyone has ever come up with. It has a soft taste and smell. feels GREAT going on and stays long after application. It is good to wear with a gloss or with a nice liner. I NEVER EVER EVER leve home without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! September 30, 2008, 10:06 am

    The thing I love about Blistex is it really helps my lips in the winter when they get really chapped and this is the best because its not just the lip balm that helps but also the gloss that makes them shiny! Can't go wrong with this product! September 10, 2008, 5:36 am
