      I bought this lotion as a part of the entire AcneRecovery System. Of the countless brands that I have tried, AcneRecovery is the only system that puts me in charge of the amount of medication I put on my face. I am in control and that is the best part. Of the countless brands that I have tried, AcneRecovery is the only system that puts me in charge of the amount of medication I put on my face. I am in control and that is the best part. I have never experienced any discomfort or irritation from using this product. It seems to cure acne overnight! I have seen the best results from this system. I love it so much that I have not used any other acne medication since December of 2007. I am now a loyal customer! I am giving it the highest score because I can say honestly for this first time that I have clear skin! My one tip is that these lotion bottles should always be kept in an upright position. Otherwise, it will seem like you're out, when you have tons of product left inside the pods. August 30, 2008, 1:12 am

          • This innovative acne treatment lotion uses two forms of benzoyl peroxide: instant benzoyl peroxide and a time-release benzoyl peroxide. The combination of straight benzoyl peroxide with its time-release cousin means there's significantly less chance of the skin irritation, redness or flakiness that a single, high-concentration dose might cause. The initial burst of benzoyl peroxide gets the acne-fighting process started by helping destroy bacteria and clearing your pores. Throughout the night, the action goes on at a steady pace, thanks to the time-released version. More than that, you can adjust the strength of benzoyl peroxide to match your needs anywhere from a 2.0% to 7.0% concentration. As you might expect, the Acne Treatment Lotion has a lot more going for it than Benzoyl Peroxide. Used nightly, theTreatment Lotion contains a generous dose of natural botanicals known to promote your skin's overall health. These skin-loving antioxidants and botanicals include Bisabolol, an extract of Chamomile that is a mild anti-inflammatory; Glycerin to help maintain a healthy skin-barrier function; and extracts of Chaparral, Olive, Saw Palmetto and Sea Whip.

          • Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to two times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
