I have very thick, frizzy and unmanageable hair. Using pomade on my hair by just smoothing over my head with my hands didn't work. I love to apply this on the bottom half of my hair and go over it with a flat iron. It doesn't leave any residue that flat irons cause by melting the product. Doing it this way made my hair smoother and much more controllable.
