THE best Moisturizer for Super-Sensitive Skin

    travelluver (1 reviews)
I can't believe the other reviewers on this product. This is THE best moisturizer I have EVER used. I'm 42 yrs. old, and used every brand from drugstore to dept. store to high end spa or dermatologist lines. My skin is sensitive to everything, sometimes just putting water on it can burn. This is the only product I have found that calms my skin, hydrates it very well, and for the price is amazing. It works people, don't listen to the other reviews, just try it yourself. For the price it's worth atleast trying it yourself. This product is thick, which is good for me and my dry sensitive skin. I use the this one for day and the nighttime one is thicker and just as great. I also love the Boots Expert Sensitive Hydrating Serum. I like to use for during the day if I want a thinner moisturizer. It acts almost like a primer. I have found using these that I mentioned together keeps my skin hydrated, calm, and not irritated. Once I stop using, it comes right back. So this is something I use everyday and won't stop it for any reason. Hopefully they will continue to make this in their line. Now I have tried some of the other Boots products which are not in the Boots Expert & Sensitive line. Those products did NOT work and were a waste of money. Also to address something from the other reviewer, this has never caused me to break out ever. I wonder if she was having breakouts because of the skin changing over to a new product. I've read where some get breakouts until their skin is calmed down & used to the new product. Kinda like a detox period. And the reviewer who said it smelled like glue? Um no it did not. It had no scent which is good for people with sensitive skin. And she downplayed it because it didn't compare it to a "fun little glue mask" that she can peel off later. Really? And your how old? — 1 month, 2 weeks ago

    Uh...No

Boots is one of those lesser known drugstore brands. Its sold mainly at Target and...Rite Aid? The lines are all pretty much standard drugstore prices- this product retails at about $5, so it isnt too much of a splurge or anything. Here we go! Pros: * It Works: As far as hydration goes, it does it pretty well, in a short amount of time (one night). It moisturizes deep and it good for those little flaky spots. * Not Greasy: A lot of lotions have thay greasy feeling that's left behind on your skin- this one doesn't have it at all. * Thick: I don't know why that's a pro, but it strikes me as something good :) * Cheap. Cons: * Smells: Like glue. * Feels: Like glue. Despite the previous pros, this lotion just has such a strong glue feeling to it. It is literally like rubbing Elmer's Glue on your face except without the stick and the strings. It also doesn't form a fun little mask you can pull off later :( — 1 year, 4 months ago
