Really adds thickness, not just volume
I bought a bottle of this in my never-ending quest for more volume and was surprised at the results. Unlike other mouses and gels, this creme makes my hair feel thicker instead of just temporarily bouncy. I apply a dime size to my wet hair (mid-back length) from roots to tips, and it actually makes my hair a little harder to blow dry because of the resistance. The thickness lasts until I wash my hair the next day. I think this would be great to use before a messy updo instead of dry shampoo to get that extra "grip". It may have decreased my shine a little and definitely caused buildup, so I'm deducting stars for that, but overall it's great for occasional use.
