Irony, perfect irony. Shampoos are never really hydrating, in fact they strip moisture. Unfortunately, this is one of the perfect examples of when salon formulators get too ahead of themselves. First of all, this didn't lather too well which I didn't mind too mind but the end results paired with the coordinating conditioner was nothing more than just a simple, everyday shampoo and conditioner finish, in fact maybe even below that standard. I really wanted to like this, so much that I thought maybe a fifth or sixth attempt may "improve" the hair by frequent usage only to find a greasy scal...05/08/2008

    One bottle, three people, and a trash can

    My roommate gave this to me with no explanation and I was stoked because BioSilk is both expensive and lauded. In fact, I psyched myself into thinking it was me and not the product, so I kept using it even though it barely lathered and left my poor hair stripped of all moisture and impossible to style.     just terrible

    putting aside the amount spent on this shampoo, it was awful. the only thing the shampoo had going for it was that it smelled nice. it didnt lather well, and afterwards my hair was a tangled mess. September 30, 2008, 9:12 pm

    I do use other BioSilk products, and like them, but I definitely DID NOT like the Hydrating Shampoo! My hair felt DEHYDRATED! August 26, 2008, 10:11 pm

    It's not really that horrible

    I saw all the previous reviews saying how horrible this shampoo is. I didn't think it was THAT bad. It definitely is no better than the average shampoo, but it's not horrendous either. I used one bottle, didn't really like it or dislike it. But it's a little more than the average drugstore brands. Because of this, I would n...     BioSilk Hydrating Shampoo

    This shampoo provides shine, conditioning and cleansing abilities. It also has a pleasant scent. It is always best to alternate 2 to 3 shampoos rather than use the same one every day on one's hair. August 13, 2008, 8:12 pm
