Too drying on fine hair

I used this a couple times in the past and its way to drying on my hair. If I use a lot of it to compensate for the drying it makes my hair too greasy. I can't find a middle ground. I was so disappointed with this shampoo. I can't believe I wasted so much money on it. The scent was pleasant but when I used the shampoo it made my hair clumpy feeling.
