      Not Even OK

      by kgraulty (14 reviews)

I did not like this moisturizer at all. It did not make me less shiny or make my skin matte. It just broke me out. I think it has to do with the cocoa butter in the product. The only good thing about this moisturizer is that it smelled good. Other than that, it is pricey for something that doesn't really do what it is suppo...sed to, even if by some chance it doesn't break you out. I think it is a bad idea to market something as pore-clogging as cocoa butter to people with acne-prone skin. I would not buy this again, or any Lush moisturizer for that matter. I have very acne prone skin, this mouisturizer is just light enough for my skin, and does not make it break out at all. it smells very nice, though it is a little expensive. April 14, 2008, 1:30 pm

      did not work for me

i really wanted to like this product because of the ingredients; they're supposed to help with hyper pigmentation. Natural fruit acids are supposed to be the best for the skin. However my skin didn't like this one. I had a few breakouts so I stopped using it. My advice would be to get a sample before buying. That's what I d...id so I didn't lose anything. A couple of things I liked though- The smell was nice, and it absorbed really fast and didn't make me greasy(and I have oily skin). So if it doesn't break you out, go for it. It could be perfect for some November 3, 2009, 10:33 pm

It can make skin oily - so I use it in winter

I use this in the winter months because my skin produces oil in the spring/summer like you wouldn't believe. I didn't really notice a difference, but my skin did seem to glow more. I think I'll just stick with Imperialis (which at $19 is cheaper - more bang for my buck). :D January 18, 2009, 2:39 pm

Smells good, but my skin did not like it

      by hellokiki (7 reviews)
I love Lush & I wanted to like this soooo much, but it really made my skin a mess. The plus side is that it smells awesome, but slathering cocoa butter on acne prone skin seems to be a bad idea. February 23, 2008, 5:05 pm

    • Brightens and balances oily skin to make it matte and happy A magical, enzymatic mixture with freshly juiced papaya and lemon to break down excess oil, and readily absorbed organic cold-pressed oils to moisturize troubled facial skin. You'll enjoy its fruity fragrance, anti-oxidant properties and, most importantly, how shine-free it makes you look.

    • Put a dab on your fingertip and pat gently onto clean, slightly damp skin. A little bit goes a long way. Can be used in the morning after toning and in the evening after cleansing and toning.
