Lush Enzymion Reviews

Didn't do anything for me.
I love LUSH. ***WHY I LOVE THEIR COMPANY: They have great products that are unique and fun, and the company is ethical as well. The products are minimally packaged to reduce waste, they are against animal testing (they use human volunteers instead), they use ethically sourced and vegetarian ingredients, they genuinely are a “green” company (in terms of their energy use, recycling/composting/re-using, using wind and low-impact hydro-electric power), and they get involved in charitable campaigns. It's a company that I LIKE to buy things from and am always excited to find new things to buy there. ***HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: This was recommended to me by a LUSH employee that I really like, and who set me up with their Coalface soap, which is probably my holy grail facial cleanser. She gave me about a week's worth of sample product to test out Enzymion, which was super nice (and another reason I love to shop at LUSH!) I was really hoping to see improvements in my acne, since even oily acne prone skin can use a little moisture and it does have some soothing ingredients in it, so I was hoping that it would calm some of the inflammation and help heal my skin. However, Enzymion didn't seem to do anything for me at all. The consistency is similar to that of lotion. It didn't feel heavy on my skin, it absorbed fairly well, and it was a bit moisturizing. It smells slightly like lemon juice, but just faintly. It didn't make my skin any worse in terms of breakouts or how oily my skin was, which I liked., but it didn't seem to make my skin any brighter or clearer. I just feel like I didn't NEED it, because it wasn't making my skin any better, and if I don't need to add another step to my skincare routine, then I won't (saves me time and money!). I personally am going to skip this. Maybe if you're acne prone with dry patches, this would be a good product for you. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

super happy so far
Ive only been using this product for a few days now, but i already am noticing results with regrad to oil production in my t zone. My skin is sensitive, combination skin and lately my t zone has been producign excessive oil, especially my nose which is totally shiny three hours after i put my make up on. I use this in conjunction with fresh farmacy and breath of fresh air toner, and am loving it. It is not too drying, as i still produce a bit of oil (it wouldnt be natural or healthy for a product to completely stop oil production ladies, but today i did not need the emergency face blotting papers by 10am. And im not sure which product is resposible for clearing up a bad red, rough acne patch i had on my chin. So pleased so far. And the scent- to dieee for!!!! its so light and a little nutty and sweet, definitely fruity. I can smell it on my face on occasion and am so pleased! wish they could bottle it as a perfume! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

did not work for me
i really wanted to like this product because of the ingredients; they're supposed to help with hyper pigmentation. Natural fruit acids are supposed to be the best for the skin. However my skin didn't like this one. I had a few breakouts so I stopped using it. My advice would be to get a sample before buying. That's what I did so I didn't lose anything. A couple of things I liked though- The smell was nice, and it absorbed really fast and didn't make me greasy(and I have oily skin). So if it doesn't break you out, go for it. It could be perfect for some — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

It can make skin oily - so I use it in winter
I use this in the winter months because my skin produces oil in the spring/summer like you wouldn't believe. I didn't really notice a difference, but my skin did seem to glow more. I think I'll just stick with Imperialis (which at $19 is cheaper - more bang for my buck). :D — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not Even OK
I did not like this moisturizer at all. It did not make me less shiny or make my skin matte. It just broke me out. I think it has to do with the cocoa butter in the product. The only good thing about this moisturizer is that it smelled good. Other than that, it is pricey for something that doesn't really do what it is supposed to, even if by some chance it doesn't break you out. I think it is a bad idea to market something as pore-clogging as cocoa butter to people with acne-prone skin. I would not buy this again, or any Lush moisturizer for that matter. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

good stuff.
I have very acne prone skin, this mouisturizer is just light enough for my skin, and does not make it break out at all. it smells very nice, though it is a little expensive. — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Smells good, but my skin did not like it
I love Lush & I wanted to like this soooo much, but it really made my skin a mess. The plus side is that it smells awesome, but slathering cocoa butter on acne prone skin seems to be a bad idea. — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
