Very Stripping
MakeupGuru (424 reviews)Use this once a week for a deep cleansing to remove any buildup in your hair. The lemon scent is refreshing, but the salt grains don't really dissolve that easily. This is very stripping, so follow up with a great conditioner if you don't want frizz. My hair comes out super shiny and squeaky clean after using this. The downside is that it's so expensive for cheap ingredients (sea salt, SLS, lemon oil frag...) — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Fun to use
Jessica8 (223 reviews)This shampoo smells great and the grainy, scrub-like consistency makes it a lot of fun to use. I didn't notice much of an effect on my hair's volume, though. It seemed a litte harsh for everyday use, but I would definitely buy it again to use when my hair is particularly dirty. On those days when you have tons of product buildup, it makes your hair and scalp feel squeaky clean like nothing else I've tried. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

BIG thumbs up for LUSH's Big Shampoo
Vintage_Glamour (24 reviews)I have very fine, limp hair so I was immediately drawn to LUSH's Big Shampoo when a LUSH store opened up in my area. The scent is fresh and subtle, but has staying power. This is a plus for me since the scent was so pleasant. You don't need much product to get a great lather. Since my hair is so fine it can get quite oily and for many shampoos it takes two washes for me to get a good lather and get all the build up away. It was so nice to get a lovely lather right off the bat with this shampoo. I usually use volumizing shampoos aimed at fine, oily hair. I did notice a slight improvement in the bounciness of my hair after using this shampoo in particular. It also just felt squeaky clean...more so than with my other volumizing shampoos. The only reason I am not giving this 10 stars is because it is not safe for color treated hair. My hair is naturally light brown, but I dye it to a dark brown in the winter. Therefore, this is a shampoo I need to reserve for the summer months when I let my hair get lighter. If you don't color treat your hair, then this product is a perfect 10! I just wish that LUSH would include information on their website about which products are suitable for color treated hair. This product is also vegan! — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Wow!
Angela260 (10 reviews)You need very little to make you're hair full of volume. I have flat oily hair and just barely a teaspoon goes a long way. Its pricy but worth it for a day when I want my hair to look great. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Favorite Lush Product
ElphieGranger (53 reviews)Big is the product that made fall in love with Lush. Just the experience of using the shampoo is worth the price. The salt particles feel great on the scalp and the smell is phenomenal! I use it to remove build-up which it is really effective at. I don't use it everyday, but not so much because it is so harsh, mostly because it is so expensive. My hair is thick and it works great! Leaves my hair very shiny! My husband also enjoys using it. I think its because it feels great but is not too sweet or feminine smelling. — 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Gets the job done
theresa_w (12 reviews)It took me a minute to get used to the texture. It's kind of like rubbing coarse salt in your hair! It does create a surprisingly large amount of lather, however. It also gets your hair squeaky clean. There is a minimal lemony fragrance. — 5 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Can't Live Without It Shampoo
NYCbeauty (5 reviews)I have fine thinning hair and I've tried many shampoos but i always go back to BIG. It leaves me hair clean and gives it tons of volume and shine. I use a conditioner at the tip of me hair followed by a styling gel and my hair looks great for few days without having to wash it again. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

No Big Hair!
25MOMO25 (93 reviews)I did not get "Big" hair is advertised. What I got was dry and brittle hair. This is very much like a clarifying shampoo but too clarifying! It drys out my scalp and makes my scalp itch. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
