Use this once a week for a deep cleansing to remove any buildup in your hair. The lemon scent is refreshing, but the salt grains don't really dissolve that easily. This is very stripping, so follow up with a great conditioner if you don't want frizz. My hair comes out super shiny and squeaky clean after using this. This shampoo smells great and the grainy, scrub-like consistency makes it a lot of fun to use. I didn't notice much of an effect on my hair's volume, though. It seemed a litte harsh for everyday use, but I would definitely buy it again to use when my hair is particularly dirty. It took me a minute to get used to the texture. It's kind of like rubbing coarse salt in your hair! It does create a surprisingly large amount of lather, however.
