Benefit You Rebel Lite
Editor's Rating & Review
Finally Benefit launched a lighter shade of this tinted moisturizer with SPF (the original is best for medium skin tones), which adjusts to most fair skin tones. The hydrating formula makes a great base under mineral makeup (if you're after more coverage), doesn't settle into fine lines and leaves skin dewy, not greasy like Laura Mercier can on combo skin. Coverage is too sheer to mask blemishes and dark circles, so use concealer. I wore this alone and people commented on how great my skin looked without makeup -- fooled them!

Didn't even purchase
I tested this out in store and couldn't even bring myself to buy it (even though I knew Sephora would let me return it if needed). For one, it was too yellow. Yes, it's lighter than the normal You Rebel, but that doesn't help if it's going to give my fair skin a yellow tint. Second, it was SUPER greasy. Now, I realize it's a moisturizer, but even on the back of my hand, the moisture didn't seem to sink in. It just sat there looking shiny. I'm all for dusting with powder when needed, but I have oily skin already and I didn't need it to look even worse. So I wiped it off with a tissue and walked away. I wish they would update the formula so it would be a little better. I have yet to find a tinted moisturizer I actually like and matches my skin tone. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
