Finally Benefit launched a lighter shade of this tinted moisturizer with SPF (the original is best for medium skin tones), which adjusts to most fair skin tones. The hydrating formula makes a great base under mineral makeup (if you're after more coverage), doesn't settle into fine lines and leaves skin dewy, not greasy like Laura Mercier can on combo skin. Coverage is too sheer to mask blemishes and dark circles, so use concealer. I wore this alone and people commented on how great my skin looked without makeup -- fooled them!

I love this!
by BlackberryAddict (37 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI have tried a ton of Tinted Moisturizers...and I think I love this one the most. I have fairly dry skin, so this really is moisturizing...but its not greasy! It sinks right it and evens out my skin perfectly. If you're used to wearing a lot of foundation to "cover" your skin, you won't like this... but if you ...want something light, "you but better"...then give this a try. It has a yellow tone to it, but it is great because my skin tends to be on the pinkish (irritated) side anyhow. I use a dab of my eucerin redness relief moisturizer (with the green tint) and then apply this over top. Its also buildable...you can apply some, wait a bit May 5, 2008, 9:07 am6 of 8 people found this review helpful.

Very Good
by janeypaney (2 reviews)I was so glad when I found that You Rebel Lite had come out as I had previously bought the Original You Rebel and found it way too dark for my fair skin and so was dissapointed. This is very good for a tinted moisturiser and feels like it will last a long time. Also it is a nice consistency and is moisturising and not too ...heavy at the same time. If you have blemishes you need a good concealer with this as it won't cover them up completely, although to be fair to benefit, it is a tinted moisturiser not Foundation. My only gripe is that its very expensive. March 22, 2008, 2:40 pm4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Eh...
by prblms4loki (35 reviews)Trusted ReviewI agree with the other readers, this product was very moisturizing and smooth-feeling. HOWEVER, it has awful coverage. I tested it out first at Sephora with foundation and coverup on, and it didn't change my skin's appearance at all. All it did was make my skin feel smooth and moisturized. Overall, good for a moisturizer, b...ut not good for a tinted moisturizer. March 16, 2008, 5:43 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Interesting.
by sharonmeira11 (38 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI doubted that this product would match my skin tone, but it does! It's also intensely moisturizing, I was amazed by how soft my skin was at the end of the day. January 14, 2008, 8:02 am3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

toxic ingredients!!
by Xplicitmeg (16 reviews)Product wise this tinted moisturizer did a good job, but if you look at the ingredient list, it contains Oxybenzone, which has been studied and proven to be one of many toxic ingredients found in common sunscreens that causes neurotoxicity, immunotoxicity, cancer, etc. So upon careful research of the chemical, it is dangero...us and should not be put in our bodies. If Benefit would remove this ingredient I would continue to buy this product and use it, but I refuse to until they remove Oxybenzone from the ingredients list. Otherwise it would be a great product that I'd recommend to anyone. August 11, 2009, 7:33 pm2 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Medium Coverage Moisturizer
by ferncool (29 reviews)This tinted moisturizer has medium coverage and wears well throughout the day. I have oily skin and was impressed that it didn't smear off my face. I have pale, freckled skin with some redness, and this did appear too yellow for my skin tone at first, but once I added a light dusting of powder over it, it looked great. I th...ink this could work for a wide range of pale skin tones with a little powder adjustment. June 19, 2008, 12:18 am2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Great for normal an dry skin!
by laurelj14 (3 reviews)I loved you rebel when I first tried it, but it was too dark for my skin tone, so when this came out I knew I would fall in love! It's great I use it in the morning and then use my coverup for under eye circles and blemishes then brush on some mineral powder and I am ready! I love it, the one thing that is a downer is the f...act that its a little oily and doesn't give enough coverage for y needs. But if you have normal skin, I totally recommend it, and if you have oily skin I hate to say it but you might want to try something els! The other thing was it was a little expensive but if you use it everyday like I do, it last a good long while, and there is no need to reapply throughout the day! best tinted moisturizer
by boopsharley (25 reviews)Benefits is one of my favorite brands. Everything they make is great. I love the tinted moisturizer because I can still add my mineral make-up over it and it doesn't over power my standard foundation. I reccommend this brand to everyone! The lightest feeling ever!
by jubilee (5 reviews)Being faired skin I couldn't wear the Original You Rebel because it was too dark for my skin tone. But You Rebel Lite is perfect for my skin. It gives the right amount of moisturizer, its sheer tint goes on smoothly, and it leaves you with a glow. I love that it has spf 15, i wear it alone and it gives the right amount of c...overage.
