I usually hate sticky lip gloss, but I make an exception for NARS Chelsea Girl. I LOVE this color, it is the perfect nude lip. I wish that they made this shade in a lipstick because I would prefer that, but I've looked and looked and can't quite find anything like it in a stick. I agree that it does stick to your finger when applied, but I guess it's a small price to pay for such a fantastic shade. I also wear it over NARS lipstick in Honolulu Honey and they work very well together for even longer staying-power. February 26, 2008, 7:58 pm

I love all NARS products, and this one is no exception. The colors from these lip lacquers are gorgeous and long-lasting, and really my only gripe is one that other people have noted: I dislike lip balms that require the use of your finger or a lip brush to apply. They are just less convenient than lip products that come ready to apply in stick format or with an applicator included. Other than that, this product is fantastic. April 23, 2008, 2:08 pm

This is a terrific shade to wear over the Nars Belle du Jour lipstick - looks like a milky carmel shade pale enough to pair up with dark smoky eyes. The lacquers are highly pigmented and great to wear alone as well. It is very sticky though, which is great for lasting wear - but not good for windy days when your hair easily flys in your face and gets stuck on your lips! November 15, 2007, 6:14 am

These come in a range of gorgeous colors, some with very subtle shimmer - I found a surprising number that looked good on my fair skin as well as a friend's darker skin. However, the gloss is a tiny bit sticky once its on. I think the stickiness at least adds to its staying power though, as this stays on better than most glosses I've tried. December 13, 2007, 8:30 am
