worst wax hair removal product I have ever tried

by andrealorena (6 reviews)
at first glance is an average hair removal product. It looks and smells fantastic. in comparison with other products i have tried is somewhat effective in removing hair. it takes a little longer than most to melt, witch i personally don't like. but the worst part of it is that in case of any waxing mulfunction it can do much more damage than any other i've tried. ouch! and to top it of in almost imposible to remove residue. it something that sticks so hard should be washable. it's not. to my opinion it's obsolete.12/18/2007

    Do NOT Buy!

    by Amylan (5 reviews)
I have never hated a product before this one. It looks to be just like everything else Sally Hansen offers, but it most certainly is not worth the money. The residue took a week to get off. It is messy, and does not even remove hair, just skin. Four days afterward, my skin was left bright red. If you listen to anything... Painful and ineffective

    by JaclynKayS (11 reviews)
I tried to use this product and it never heated up right even though I followed the directions explicitly. It didn't remove the hair the way it should and left a residue that was VERY difficult to get off. June 30, 2008, 7:16 pm

  • Directions

  • For best results, follow instructions included in package. Lavender Spa Body Wax is the perfect wax to remove hair from your delicate, sensitive skin. Follow heating instructions in package. Using the included applicator, spread a thin layer of wax onto area where hair is to be removed. Be sure to apply in the same direction to which hair grows. Next, apply a cloth strip in the same direction that you applied the wax. Stroke the strip a few times to adhere wax firmly to strip. With one hand, hold the skin taut. With the other, hold the bottom of the strip and pull away quickly in the opposite direction of how you applied it. For best removal, pull wax strip off close to the skin, rather than pulling outwards. If strip is peeled away correctly, the wax and hair will be on the strip and not on your skin! Repeat these steps until all unwanted hair is removed. Use Post Treatment Soothing Azulene (included) to soothe and care for skin, and remove traces of excess wax.
