Great but stinks!
This is soooo great for those nights after you come home with a ton of makeup on and need a heavy duty makeup remover. BUT I cannot stand the smell. It's very old grandma-ish. Even though this is the best makeup remover, I still will not buy anymore. I need something that does that AND smells good, because you do have to smell this until you fall asleep. Just can't do it. Only thing that worked!
I have horrible, dry skin in the winter and have tried everything. My mom bought this for me and I can say it definitely moisturizes my skin and gets rid of the flakes and dry feeling after I wash my face. I like something with an SPF during the day so I usually use this at night. I quit using bars of soap and have only used ponds cold cream on my face since I was 10 years old and I am 56 now. I could have the makings of a zit on my face and I would put this on every night to sleep in and the zit would be gone. Refreshing and multifunctional.
I've been using this jar of cream to remove my makeup for a while rather than a facial moisturizer (I follow what's on the jar, it never said it was also a moisturizer) and it always felt too oily on my eyes. My mother used ponds cold cream many years ago and now I am following that tradition. It is the best make up remover that I have ever tried. It leaves my skin feeling moist and smooth. It removes all of my waterproof mascara without drying out my eye area and leaving tiny lines.
