Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum Reviews

Pretty good!
LipglossandSpandex (487 reviews)PROS: This product makes your hair nice and shiny! Pleasant, slightly fruity scent. Product lasts awhile b/c you don't need very much. CONS: Doesn't seem to change how dry your hair really is though. Blowouts do not last as long w/this product for me. Overall, an okay product that I might buy again! (Paul Mitchell Super Skinny serum is at least $5 cheaper than TIGI's dream drops [DD have crappy packaging and is more gooey]). Overall, I'm also leaning toward Fekkai Glossing Cream which is a little lighter for my hair compared to any serum, and does more overall for my hair in terms of a natural amount of gloss, healthy appearance and other features. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

smells sooo good
taryn.romero (43 reviews)I've been using this product for awhile now and I absolutely love it. I got a free sample of it from my hair dresser and I really didn't think I was going to like it. I was so wrong. It's not that expensive and since you only need a little bit, the bottle lasts for quite some time. It doesn't make my hair feel oily or greasy and I love the fruity smell. My hair is thick and wavy but this makes straightening it out a breeze. It doesn't make my hair feel like it's weighed down with product and it doesn't feel sticky either. I really like this serum. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Must have for blow drying
yestfl (120 reviews)This product is my must have for blow drying my hair. It reduces the time it takes to dry, the dizziness and makes it shiny and soft and doesn't weigh it down, and you only need a dollop. It's great! — 4 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Heaven-scent
beautyguru_24_7 (273 reviews)This product does really help shave time off a blow dry, as well as help add shine and tame fly aways, but what I'm addicted to, is the oh-so pleasant scent. It's like a sheer watermelon that is believable and not artificial. I have the larger size and it's lasted me quite some time since it is very concentrated, making it a very good deal. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nice blowout booster
Jessica8 (223 reviews)I love the way my hair looks after I get a blowout at the salon, but I have a hard time getting it as smooth at home. I tried this serum, and it gave me an almost salon-quality blowout in just a few minutes. It seems to reduce drying time just as the bottle claims. It has a pleasant smell and didn't leave my hair gunky or sticky. Nice! — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

A little heavy and I love it!
j_orestano (221 reviews)My hair is long and colored (I'm trying to grow that out!) and it has a lot of poof and frizz to it. This serum really tones down that poof and makes my hair really soft and shiny. It can be a little greasy, so I keep it far from my roots. Ladies with fine or oily hair might not like this product, but if your hair is dry, coarse or frizzy, it will probably work quite well for you! — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Good stuff!
BeautyJunkieAmber (231 reviews)I have the strangest hair. I’m sure many of you are saying the same thing. Mine is limp, fine, hard to get volume, and also hard to keep straight at the same time. It doesn’t make any sense! Then it gets all curly sometimes. I can’t figure it out. Being tired of putting it in an eternal ponytail, last week I had it all chopped off into that “Posh Spice†bob. And I couldn’t be happier. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this a long time ago. With this, came a new challenge! How do I get a smooth blow-out but still get a teensy bit of volume? I scoured the products at the beauty supply knowing I could not go back to what I am familiar with because it would have gotten me nowhere. I decided to give Paul Mitchell products a try. I left there with Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum in my bag. (In addition to other stuff that shall remain nameless for now.) On Day 1, attempting to blow dry myself– I used WAY too much. I looked like I didn’t wash my hair for a week by the time I was finished. On Day 2, I used VERY small amounts of it in small sections and got probably one of the best blow-outs I’ve ever given myself. I was super happy with the product. On Day 3, I got rebellious. I put Super Skinny Serum all over my hair very lightly to control frizz. Then I scrunched some mousse in my hair and got frizz-free beachwaves that dried really fast. The things I love, the scent. It’s like candy. It makes my hair dry several minutes faster than normal, and it’s not sticky at all. Not loving: accidentally getting it on your scalp, and pumping too much out. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
