December 4, 2007, 7:42 pm I used the Masquintense for fine hair with the shampoo, Bain 1. My hair has been dyed different colors and highlighted so many times that it is very dry and damaged. Yet I also have an oily scalp. This combination left my hair very healthy and shiny without weighing it down. I could even skip a day of washing my hair, and my scalp wasn't oily. My only complaint is the smell, which reminds me of Chanel number 5 perfume - great smell for some, but not my cup of tea. December 4, 2007, 7:42 pm

May 1, 2008, 11:57 am I have purchased so many different hair care products over the years, usually before finishing the last one I "had to have". Recently, I was cleaning out under my sink and found a bottle of Aveda light elements smoothing fluid. I just LOVE it! It is very light weight...my hair is fine, it doesn't make my hair look or feel greasy and it actually smells good, too! I will definitely finish this bottle and replace it when it's finished. That might be awhile, a little goes a long way. I would recommend this product. May 1, 2008, 11:57 am

Smooth hair is in your future!

If smooth hair is your goal--Aveda made your product. I use this in combo w/ Aveda Smooth Infusion shampoo & conditioner. For me, I prefer to use it in combo for best results but it can be used alone. A small amount of this goes a long way so there is no need to pile it on. It has a light weight not a sticky feel--which gives this a enough hold without "crunchy" hair. I find to get my hair smooth I need to add a medium setting heat from a dryer and a large round brush. As for the smell--it's there like most things Aveda, but I feel it is a clean scent. The results are worth it. December 27, 2007, 8:57 pm

I got this in the aveda smoothing set. One little drop of this stuff mixed in with the thicker styling cream makes sure my hair is smooth and shiny all day. Great, lightweight, not greasy!

This is one of the best shine boosting serums out there. Most are greasy and weight hair down, but this one is different. I like to mix it in with my hang straight on damp hair, and the blow dry and/or flat iron, and put just a little itty bitty bit on my hair to tame fly aways and add shine. it's the best! My #1 all time conditioner

    by smashingbp311 (6 reviews)
I have been hooked on this ever since I discovered it about 3 years ago! It gives such a rich, deep moisture without weighing hair down. I highly reccomend this for people with dry hair, color treated hair, if you use a lot of products or if you blow dry a lot. LOVE IT! December 10, 2007, 8:23 am

    Fantastic Deep Conditioner

    by Kellynicole (39 reviews)
This is an expensive product but it is so worth it! You only need to use a very little bit about once a week, so it goes a really long way. It smells great and makes my hair softer than any other conditioner ever has. Good beauty investment! December 3, 2007, 3:48 pm

    I Love It!

    by Amanduhze (108 reviews)
I just bought this today, and I love it!!! Pros: Put it on before heat styling your hair, and it makes it smooth, shiney, and healthy-looking. It's lightweight, and non-greasy. Works even on my thin hair. Cons: Expensive =) =) NOT TESTED ON ANIMIALS!!! May 25, 2008, 9:24 pm

I have very thick hair that needs taming. I use two pumps of this product after showering and it calms the flyaways and frizz while keeping the volume. And it lasts forever. I've had one bottle for six months and it still looks almost full. May 8, 2008, 9:01 am

    Nice smoother

    by IndyAM (5 reviews)
I love Aveda products and this is a nice smoother. However, I only use it if I want a straight style. If I want to go wavey, this flattens my waves. So if you have straight hair or want to style straight, this is a great product to smooth and tame the flyaways. April 24, 2008, 6:32 am
