Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash With Shea Butter
Editor's Rating & Review
I used this thick, creamy body wash at a friend's house and liked it so much, I bought it for myself. The soap-free formula rinses without leaving sticky residue, but only if you rinse well. Skin feels soft automatically. Effects can last all day for dry skin types, but the moisture might be too rich for oily skin. The price is high for drugstore brands, considering the wash can dwindle as fast as a bar of soap.

Olay
LittleBunny (383 reviews)This felt greasy. I liked how creamy the lather was and it cleansed okay, but that greasy residue feeling was not nice. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

New Look, Same Decent Product
MissXu (73 reviews)Someone in my family must absolutely love this because we have six bottles of this ultra moisture body wash with shea butter lying in around in the house. The scent of this body wash smelled oddly familiar and I wasn’t certain if I’ve tried this bottle wash when I was younger. Only did I come on here to write a review did I realize that I could have possibly used this same product but in a different older packaging. Just opening the bottle, there is a light fragrance that smells buttery yet gentle. On the back of the bottle it claims after one use: cleans and conditions skin, with immediate relief for dry areas. Which I notice was relatively true, except I like to add that the product comes on like a slippery lotion almost and does not lather at all. The shea butter scent also becomes much more noticeably stronger when applying it onto my body. When washing it off, the scent diminishes and my skin feels cleaner (as it does with almost any other body wash). However, it does feel smoother after using this ultra moisture body wash. The second claim is that it locks in moisture for 24 hours, which may be true if lotion was applied directly to my skin after I shower. The back of the bottle continues to claim that after one-week: it moisturizes skin to be lush and nourished. After one bottle, it’ll make skin healthy looking and resistant to future dryness. Now, I’m close to finishing one bottle and I do believe my skin feels smoother, but I believe it’s because I use lotion in conjunction with this body wash. Lastly, the instructions say that this product can be used as a shaving aid (then rinse). I was surprised because I never would have thought of using my body wash as a shaving aid and have yet to use it as such, but hey still have five bottles lying around, if I can’t finish those, might as well use it for shaving! — 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Shea Butter
pynkNymphette (187 reviews)I love anything that contains shea butter it is super hydrating and makes my skin feel so soft. This wash is perfect because it does not have a lot of stripping ingredients like most drug store brands do. The scent is light and pleasant and will not over power your perfume/lotion. The bottle is easy to squeeze and a very good price with a decent amount of product. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful
