Don't need. Just do not need primers. Just put a little concealer on to brighten and give base for shadows. If use highly pigmented eye shadow, like Urban Decay, Too Faced, Maybelline and Revlon the shadows will stay put. I like their neutral nude colors. This base makes my eye shadow more vivid, and it also helps to stay longer but easy to take it off. It comes with very small compact, but all I need is a small amount.
