I have used brushes to apply my foundation ever since a Clinique consultant used one on me at the mall. I like to dampen the brush before putting the makeup on it because it gives me a nice, dewy wash of coverage. Spendy but worth it!
For some brushes, I use the cheap variety (elf eyeshadow brush, ecotools eyeliner brush) and think they work just as well as the more expensive version. But for a foundation brush, it's better to get a nice one, and Clinique's is great. I used to use makeup sponges until I got a makeover at the Clinque counter. Now, I'll never go back to those sponges--the brush applies foundation better, allows you to spread it better, wastes less makeup, and feels nice. Wondeful Brush

My go-to foundation brush
I've only used a few different brushes for foundation, because I used sponges to apply it for a long time. This was part of a birthday gift I received from a friend, and it is definitely my favorite! The clear handle of the brush is really beautiful and well-made, and the bristles are soft and pliable, but never fall out. I clean it once a week with make up brush cleaner and so far it has lasted me 2 years! It spreads foundation around my face really well. Beautiful Brush
A long, slender and clear handle on this brush. The bristles are strong and easy to clean. It picks up liquid foundation very well. The only complaint is the price. Best brush I have ever used
This will be the ONE & ONLY foundation brush I will ever use! You will use less foundation plus the coverage will be more even and smooth. And to save a little more money, I don't buy the Clinique brush cleaner. Great Brush.
I love this brush. I am no make up pro, and I don't have the patience to achieve perfection. As a busy college student this is a great product to use all the time. My make up goes on evenly and easily. It really makes a big improvement in the way my make up looks.
