CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3-Kit Shadows Reviews

Just OK
Most people are all about the shimmering sands, but I actually prefer Cafe Au Lait. The colors are very pretty and great for an everyday natural look. The pigmentations is not very good, but if you load up your brush it gets the job done. Nothing extraordinary, but still a good product. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

can do no wrong!
I love these! All of them have great color combinations, for all different skin colors. I think I have 4 different sets? 3 colors is just the right amount, my eyes look overdone with 4. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Makes Your Eyes Pop
I have this in Golden Sunset; a medium brown, an orange-y copper, and a yellow. All pretty and shimmery. They work so well for a daytime look and on tanned skin. At first I was scared of the orange and yellow colors, but they are so subtle, and when blended with the dark brown shade really compliment my hazel eyes. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Easy Peasy!
I LOVE these. They are inexpensive and the color trio's go together so well. You don't need to be a pro to apply. You can use each color seperately. But I usually apply the middle color to my lids, the lighter color to the inner corner of my eyes and on my brow bowns. The darkest color goes on my crease to create a lovely contoured eye. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Dazzling Metallics
I really liked CG's Dazzling Metallics, it can even be applied wet just don't use it with the included applicator brush. It lasts a LONG time and the colors are VERY vibrant. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I'll never buy another CoverGirl shadow
CoverGirl makes a wonderful selection of colors BUT they never look the same on your lids. I put aside my past experienes and bought this set because I had to find a pink shadow but I wish I hadn't. They're shadows are all too light or too glittery and resemble chalk way too much. I've yet to find an exception. I ended up throwing it in the bottom of my make up drawer (with my other CoverGirl shadows). I bought Bon Belle instead and despite its cheap price tag and pre-teen rep, it's a much, much better shadow. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Go for Gold!
Golden Sunset eye shadow trio has three pretty shades of golden copper and bronze. I love that these are pretty pigmented and silkier than what you’d imagine from a mass beauty brand. For super quick gold look, wear the darkest shade at the lash line and fan out the color using the middle gold shade in the crease. Finally highlight with the lightest color. — 4 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

SOFT COLORS
I LIKE THE FEEL WHEN I APPLY THE SHADOWS AND THEY SEEM TO STAY ON WITHOUT GETTING CREASES. ALSO THE CHOICE OF SHADES IS GOOD. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Perfect for a Sheer Wash of Color
I've tried both the Blazing Blues and the Firecracker three-kit shades, and with both of them I noticed that they are matte, which I really like, and that they are more sheer than many of the brands that are out there these days. Not to say that the colors aren't completely vivid, they absolutely are. But they go on and stay on quite sheer. Those who are used to or want a lot of color will have to build these up layer by layer. I found, however, that I loved the look of sheer and vivid - it's unique to what is going on in the beauty world right now. A few other tips: be sure to use an eyeshadow brush versus the included applicator, which isn't even worth including. If you find that the colors don't stay, try an eyeshadow primer, or even a skin primer on your lids and see if that doesn't help. Paired with jet black eyeliner and a thickening mascara, these shadows are well worth the $4 you'll pay for them. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Perfect to Pop your eyes
I have a compact with gold and brown hues and and the range of the three colors is perfect for them to each be used seperately or all three can be combined for some upper lid/under brow shading. I would say that the color stays strong for about 8 hours and than the shimmery-ness starts to fade a bit, but there is lots of sparkle so I apply once and im good all day. Its less than 5 dollars and you get three colors in one, for its small size its pretty long lasting and versatile. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
