I find I change brands every once in a while, this one has nice color (reds) but comes out more than some in the rinse.10/26/2007

    Blue-black Hair Color

    I saw the commercial for this product; the hair color so dark black that it shines blue. So, of course, I had to get it. The only problem, is that by the seventh wash, it started to turn grey. It starts off as a beautiful color, but if I wanted to keep it fresh looking for a decent period of time, I had to strip my hair of ... The only problem, is that by the seventh wash, it started to turn grey. It starts off as a beautiful color, but if I wanted to keep it fresh looking for a decent period of time, I had to strip my hair of all nutrients by dying it every two weeks. After three colorings, my hair was too brittle. Beautiful color, but it needs to last longer and put a little more nourishment in my hair. November 12, 2007, 8:13 pm

    Beautiful Color

    I purchased this color in "light coppery mahogany brown" a few days before i had my hair highlighted as a base color. In the short time I had before going in to the salon, I've received so many compliments on the color of my hair. And rightly so, it was such a beautifully rich color that I was almost hesitant to go in for my appointment. But when I did, all of the people working at the salon kept commenting on how beautiful my hair color was and could not believe that I did it myself. This color also produced such a nice contrast to my highlights, I just couldn't be happier. Very nice. May 22, 2008, 6:56 pm

    100 percent color on 50 percent of my hair

    Iread the box , said ok let's try this and away we went. I applied this color- left it on 5 minutes longer than recommended for grey and rinsed. I do like this rich color but was completely disappointed with its grey coverage. I have a few stray greys or I would not color. This product did not cover the grey at all after 2 ...     soft natural color

    i love this brand! i had tried multiple others and they would either fade or leave my hair feeling brittle. not this brand! my hair color was natural, it last for over a month without touch up, and it felt soft right after coloring. i will be purchasing this product for awhile.     not bad, but not great...

    i purchased the blue black haircolor.. it came out fantastic.. it has a multitonal dark blue/purple tint to it.. unfortunately, the color has slowly been washing out since i dyed it two weeks ago.. i still have the bluish tint in my hair, but it is coming off sooner than i expected.     Lasting colour

    I use Garnier to add red streaks to my blonde hair. The price is right. and the colour lasts way longer than when I get it done at the hair salon. February 7, 2008, 6:34 am

    Pretty good for a do-it-yourself dye.

    I had previously used another brand to color my hair and desided to try this when it came time to re-dye it. My hair is a very light brown and I color my hair blond. It covered my roots well so that they matched the rest of my hair, unlike some products that leave your roots an orangy tone. January 30, 2008, 9:40 am

    this stuff is just what it says. 100%. The color lasts for a substantial amount of time, there are a large range of colors for those of us who like to have a slight variation from time to time. Highly reccommend this. December 18, 2007, 10:34 am

    Pretty good product

    I used the black/blue color of this, it smelled awful (as hairc color does) but it made my hair feel so healthy! Unfortunately it washed out in about 3 weeks. I have since got and gotten my hair professionally colored. December 7, 2007, 6:53 am

    this stuff is ok. i used the deep red color. the only thing i didn't like was that it washed out very fast... in about 3 weeks. the good thing was that after i colored my hair, the color was beautiful and my hair didn't feel "colored" December 6, 2007, 8:54 pm

  • Warnings: Haircolor products can cause an allergic reaction which, in certain rare cases, can be serious. Therefore, before you use this product it is necessary to follow these precautions: DO NOT USE: -if you have already had a reaction to a haircolor product -if you have a sensitive, itchy or damages scalp. Perform an allergy test with a portion of this product 48 HOURS BEFORE full application (see the instruction sheet). Avoid contact with eyes and skin (other than areas of application) If product gets into eyes, rinse with lukewarm water immediately Wear gloves provided in kit Thoroughly rinse hair after application Do not use on relaxed hair Wait at least 14 days after bleaching or perming before coloring Do not use for anything other than coloring your hair Do not sue over compound henna or progressive color Do not inhale or ingest Keep product out of the reach of children Store between 50 and 80 degrees F This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. This product must not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness. Follow the instructions. GARNIER 100% COLOR is not recommended if you have predominately gray hair. For 100% gray coverage use Garnier Nutrisse. On bleached or highlighted hair, results will be more intense. Not recommend for hair that has been colored to a black or dark brown shade.
