As soon as I opened the case, I was put off by this strong perfumy, nauseating, sweet scent. When I put this on, the thick cushiony layer felt uncomfortable and too heavy on my lips. It wasn't as highly pigmented, but didn't want to layer more since it's uncomfortably greasy feeling. After reading Allure's top beauty picks, I purchased this in Fairest Nude. In the past I haven't had much luck if any with lipsticks. They either dry my lips out or just don't look or feel right on me. I have used L'Oreal in the past and wasn't swayed either way, but this formulation is awesome! I've finally found the perfect shade of "Nude" for a nude lip AND it doesn't dry my lips out, or make my face look washed out. When it wears off, it's gradual and doesn't leave a color residue.
