This lipstick has been my new found favorite. I bought the shade in nude, and since it has become my favorite drug store brand. I love the colors and the variety. I think that it does tend to have a thick texture, but I tend to like that since thicker lipsticks last longer to me. It's nice and compact, the square shape is cute, and I nearly own almost every color. Nude is my favorite though! Strong scent

As soon as I opened the case, I was put off by this strong perfumy, nauseating, sweet scent. When I put this on, the thick cushiony layer felt uncomfortable and too heavy on my lips. It wasn't as highly pigmented, but didn't want to layer more since it's uncomfortably greasy feeling. After reading Allure's top beauty picks, I purchased this in Fairest Nude. In the past I haven't had much luck if any with lipsticks. They either dry my lips out or just don't look or feel right on me. I have used L'Oreal in the past and wasn't swayed either way, but this formulation is awesome! I've finally found the perfect shade of "Nude" for a nude lip AND it doesn't dry my lips out, or make my face look washed out. When it wears off, it's gradual and doesn't leave a color residue. This is good quality lipstick that is rich in pigment so you get every bit of color you see in the chic fancy like tube for a good price. The only fault of this lipstick is that it will dry over time so keeping it stored in an enclosed space with the cap tightly on is highly recommended. I have the Tickled Pink color which is a Barbie pink with a metallic effect. Since I have pale skin and dark hair and eyes, I was never able to pull off a pink except fuscia. After trying this shade at a friend's house, I bought my own and will be buying it again! I like this product also. The packaging is upscale (how silly and judgmental of me, I know), the lipstick is very creamy and not too, too glossy, which I like. The shade is true, it doesn't change during the day, and It lasts a long time if you know the trick to applying lipstick---use some foundation on your lips before applying lipstick. There are a multitude of shades to choose from, many will likely flatter most skin tones. Also, appropriate for all ages, I think.
