It changes the color of your lipstick
I bought this because I thout it would plump my lips. It's beige, doesn't plump and changes the shade of reddish orange lipsticj I wear so much so that I stopped using it. Not the original formula
The original formula performed quite well, and for fair skinned ladies, it could be worn alone with a gloss over it, simply for shine. Now they changed the formula. :( Not good. It does nothing, except serve as a primer. It will make you lipstick cakey and clumpy after awhile as well. Good as a lip primer only
Benefit Lip Plump is great as a Lip Primer and smoother but does nothing as far as plumping. MISUNDERSTOOD
Poor Benefit Lip Plump always gets a bad rap!! Despite the name this product is NOT a lip plumper and was never meant to be. It's a lip primer that builds up the contours of your lip. It's actually amazing when used in a small amount under your lipstick (use your finger to blend instead of slapping it on with the applicator!). An awful product!
This was the first Benefit product I ever bought and it was a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, I've found this to be the case with many Benefit products. This is a thick beige mess. It's drying, does absolutely no plumping, and changes the color of whatever lip product you put over it. You cannot wear it alone because of the color unless you want to look like a corpse. Not a lip plumper
This isn't really a lip plumper so much as a base for making your lipstick truer to the color in the tube. I like lip plump.
