So-so for me
I got this as a gift. When I unwrapped, I thought I got the two same tubes, but later I realized that one tube was Buffing Lip Beads, and the other one was Silky Lip Balm. The exfoliator beads removed dead skin off from my lips, and my lips felt smoother. But it left a waxy film like residue. I disliked the lip balm part even more. It was really thick almost like Vaseline petroleum jelly so that it was hard squeeze. The concept of this two-process lipcare product was indeed interesting, but too expensive for not very impressive results. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Mediocre and overpriced
It was given to me as a stocking stuffer about 4 holidays ago. First I thought I got the two tubes of the same products, but when I read the labels, I realized that one tube was buffing lip beads, and the other one was silky lip balm. The exfoliator beads removed dead skin off from my lips, and my lips felt smoother. But I remember it left a bit waxy film. I disliked the lip balm part even more. It was really thick almost like Vaseline petroleum jelly so that it was hard squeeze some out from their tube. The concept of this product was indeed interesting, but I think it was way overpriced. Even though it was a pricey product, I did not finish them. A few years ago I accidentally saw this tube at a Sephora how expensive was. Wow, I would never pay this much money on a mediocre lip care product. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

must do before a date!
The scrub makes my lips kissably soft, the scentless, flavorless balm is silky, not sticky. the scrubbing also plumps my lips a bit, they look line-less and full. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

try a toothbrush/washcloth and Vaseline
In theory, the lip scrub + balm is a great idea, but why so expensive? The scrub polishes lips to leave them soft and non-flaky when applying lipstick, and the balm is luxuriously moisturizing. However, not willing to pay for it again! I use a washcloth dipped in Vaseline to get rid of flaky skin. It's a cheaper way to have softer lips! But I must say, the product itself is very nice — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Exfoliator
I like the lip exfoliator and use it whenever i feel like my lips need to be rejuvenated. I wouldn't know about the lip balm, since i've never used it, but I feel like the exfoliator should come by itself, that way people can use their favorite lip balm instead of feeling obligated to use a lip balm they don't like just because it came in a set. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Very Good Product
I have very very dry lips and I suffer a lot during winter. I went crazy this year and bought two types of carmex lip balm (did not work wonders for me) and Benefit Lipscription. I never tried to scrub my lips before to get rid of all those awful flakes. The scrub is quite gentle and leave lips feeling very soft. The balm is just amazing, it can be used either after the scrub or anytime really and it does its job! It really helped me during winter and will certainly not leave my purse for the rest of the year. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not that great
I have super dry lips and this product does not deliver for the price to me. I am constantly looking for something to exfoliate my lips well and then keep them super hydrated. This proves that price does not equal up to superb quality all the time. Like one reviewer said the balm is really greasy. The exfoliater was not thick enough for me either. I combine them both with other products to try to get the desired effect I need. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Perfect primer for red lipstick!
Afraid of dark lip colours because of rough lips? Fear no more! Usethe buffing beads to gently exfoliate your lips and lift dry skin, and then use the balm to moisturize and condition your lips! I lie using these two together right before going out so that I have a great base for lipstick. Use several times a week for best results - you'll see your lips improve in no time! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Pretty good, pricey
The scrub and balm work great together for those of us with dry flaky lips. You need to reapply the balm, but you can also use chapstick instead, Use it a few times a week and you will be looking and feeling good. The packaging is nice, as usual. I don't know if it is worth $32, but it lasts a looong time! — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Pass on it
CO Bigelow makes a yummier and cheaper version of this lip buffer. This is much too pricey and isn't the best one out there. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
