Great for Rosacea
My dermatologist recommended this for my mild rosacea. At first I thought it was going to feel to thick and make my skin oily, but I guess my skin just adapted. I only use a light serum instead of a regular moisturizer under this though, because it is moisturizing. It does leave a slight white cast to your skin, but I just apply my concealer and powder over top and it looks fine. When summer comes around and I have to be outdoors my face usually gets beet red, but this seemed to help as long as I kept applying it every couple of hours. Way too thick and greasy!
I use lots of Skinceuticals products and am a big fan, but this one is a dud. It goes on thick and white, and "dries"(well never really does) to a heavy greasy mask. I would not dream of wearing makeup over it. I think it does provide good sun protection, but I got so hot wearing it because my skin could't breathe that I was sweaty and red-faced. Returned after two uses
I usually like SkinCeuticals products, but this was a disappointement. I bought this because of the physical blocks that don't break down in sunlight and its moisturizing properties, but the cream was so thick that it was extremely difficult to spread and blend. The greasy appearance also never really went away even after it dried, and it had a very sticky finish. I tried toning it down with powder, but it only got caught on the stickiness and looked cakey.
