nice combinations
i like the way they pair the colors but they do fade pretty easy without a primer. and sometimes i use my finger instead of a brush (i know this isn't good for any eyeshadow) if i don't have time but this makes the eyeshadow become especially cakeyThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Crumbly....
Well, the one thing good I have to say about this product is the color selection. There are some fantastic colors that are unique to Cover Girl. However, expect it to crumble as you apply it so make sure to hold tissue paper under your eyes as you do so. It also wears off very quickly. Mixed feelings - I wanted to like them
I had 3 quads: Crystal Waters, Drama Eyes, and Tropical Fusion. Crystal waters was beatiful, but the first two shadows in it were poorly pigmented. The lightest shade was a sheer whitish crystal color, but the last 2 had more pigment. It looked good on me at first, but after a few hours, my eyes would be a mess and smudges would somehow wind up below my eyes. I was disappointed because I really w...read moreanted to like this particular one. Drama Eyes and the Tropical one were much more pigmented and stayed on longer. Drama Eyes would make a great smokey eye if it would stay put. I like the tropical one more for eyeliner because its so bright on me. That one was an impulse buy, I'm sorry to say. Not no more
For years I used to use these shadows since, like you all are saying, they were light (didn't like to wear alot)but, don't know why, I got an alergic reaction to them. Great colors

Good colors. Not pigmented! :(
I was very disappointed, the packaging is so great & the colors look wonderful. But after putting it on, it comes off and builds in the crease of your eye. The applicator is huge and doesn't get the job done. And get this: I was at the dollar store buying "beginner" makeup for my daughter, and I saw it there! Yes, it's worth 4 quarters. Spend your money elsewhere
The colors look like a much paler version of themselves on your skin. The shadow comes out very, very light, so you can apply layer after layer, and it still manages to never look like it does in the compact. The shadow was flaky, so you should not use this if you have sensitive eyes or wear contacts. Even if you like sheer shadows and minimal makeup, the flakiness of the product isn't worth it. Country Woods and Urban Basics
Country Woods was perfect for me in High School because the colors are much sheerer than what they appear in the quad; great if you want a light, more natural look with shimmer. But I'm not in high school anymore and wanted some more color payoff so I tried Urban Basics, newer than my 9 year old Country Woods Quad. Unfortunately the formulation hasn't improved. Beautiful colors, but barely show up...read more. horrible, horrible
not even worth it at buy one get one free. the are not blendable, the colors look bright and bold but when you put them on they are dull. i see more loose poweder on my face then more powder on my lids. i have two of theses kit and even though i only paid for one (the other was free) it wasnt even worth it, i owuld much rather spend $20 on one MAC eyshadow than these crappy shadows.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Where'd it go?
