The colors always look better in the box. They don't go on well at all, and you kick yourself for wasting your money on them. Probably best for makeup beginners.

cover girl doesnt cover much here

I have 2 of the eye shadow compacts. I have the URBN BSCS & WRBL CHIC. I have to agree with the other lady who posted about the Urban Basics, the colors do not go on very dark. The shadow looks more dark in its compact than it does on the eyes. The WRBL CHIC has a dark (midnight) blue, light pink, light baby blue and a pearl or champaigne; the latter 3 looking absolutely the same when applie...read mored. When I applied the dark blue, and tried to kind of blend the colors, I ended up looking like I had two bruised eyes.

CoverGirl Eye

This eye shadow is chalky, as are all CoverGirl eye shadows, whether they're the trios, the quads or the monos. I will say that some of the colors make gorgeous eyeliner when applied with a damp liner brush to the lower lash line. They're a great alternative to a harsh black line for the lower lash line.

A mess

It can't be more looser powder that falls all over your face when you apply it, the colors lack conviction. It's not long wearing maybe for a teenager who doesn't need alot of makeup. There are better on sale in the same department.

It could be a little darker

I have the Urban Basics color and it could be just a little bit darker so it will show up better.

I've found better

I like the colors, I picked a browns set, but the colors are so light even the darkest one, it tends to not show up well even on myself who has very fair skin.
