Good
This product won't give you salon/spa/professional results after the first use. Over time your skin will improve. This is a great cost-alternative for someone who can't afford frequent microderms, but needs to do something to keep their skin in shape. Like me! Fun to Use and Effective!
I am generally skeptical of Philosophy skincare products because I have not had much luck with others that I have tried. I got a sample of this two step microdelivery system and was eager to try it because I had read so many great reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised when I used this! Even though the two steps might seem cumbersome, this is so easy and quick to do. It's even fun! I applied the vitamin c crystals and then when I applied the activating gel on top, it instantly warmed on contact. It felt amazing. It didn't burn or tingle at all, just warmed and made you feel like the activator was actually activating something. The whole process took well under ten minutes and the "mask" that formed was even easy to wash off. I love that there are both chemical and (small) physical exfoliators in this duo because all your bases are covered. This has vitamin c and lactic acid in so you get a gentle exfoliating and brightening affect. When I washed this off, my face felt great. Not red, sensitive or overly dry at all. The next morning I thought my skin looked great. Keeping the two products separate helps ensure that the active ingredients in each stay effective. Smells great, works even better
Wow. This one is worth all the hype! First, the vitamin C crystals smell like an orange julius. It feels warm on the skin as you massage it over your face. Then with the activating gel, it feels warmer and foams. After 2 minutes, my skins feels smoother, looks brighter and I have little clogged pores actually clearing out. The best I've tried...but very expensive
I fell in love with Philosophy's Microdelivery Peel system years ago, but when our finances took a turn for the worse I had to give it up. Smooth soft radiant skin
Got a big sample of this at Sephora. The first time I used it I overdid it with the crystal scrub and my skin felt raw and red. The second time I did it, I made sure to GENTLY MASSAGE, NOT SCRUB and was really pleased with the results. My skin was smoother, softer, brighter, and pores were slightly smaller. I don't know... for the cost...
I expected more. This does a good job don't get me wrong, but I can get a microdermabrasion kit for much less and have better results for less cost, so it's not winning any points in that sense. The Philosophy MicroDelivery Peel is one of my weapons of choice in my skincare arsenal. In 2 easy steps, all my dead skin is sloughed off, my skin is smooth, glowing and happy again. When I say smooth, I mean smooth to the touch to the point of not being able to keep my hands off of it. Try telling my husband to keep his hands to himself! First, I take the crystals and gently manually exfoliate my face for about a minute. Then I take the activator gel and massage it over the top of the crystals. In about 3 minutes… wah-lah! Can't live without!
I love this two step Microdermabrasion system By Philosophy. I use it once a week. It not only smells good but it feels good while using. First you apply the Vitamin C crystals (smells like oranges) then you apply the activating gel. You get a warm bubble feeling on your skin. I am seriously here to tell you my honest opinion on this product! I am 22 about to be 23 and $70 is a great amount to spend on facial product! Do not expect drastic improvement the first two uses. However, after the first 2 uses my face has been glowing and polished better than ever! I do not even wear foundation because my skin is just so beautiful! After use, you notice a difference instantly! Skin is so soft, smooth and you can tell that dead skin was peeled off. With this product and every other product, you have to be taking care of your skin on regular basis.....because this is helps maximize your skin's beauty. I guess what I am trying to say is to not just depend on this product to have flawless skin. Exfloliate with daily products like Aveeno and moisturize daily so that when you use this product it's effective! It's expensive but a great buy.
