Editor Review
This worth-the-splurge gloss gives a high-shine finish without the bug-catching stickiness of MAC Lipglass. But somehow, it's not so slippery that you'll lick it right off. (This has medium-level staying power.) Color chameleons will love the 35-plus shades. My go-to hue is Spark, a golden-flecked, sheer red that flatters most skin tones. And hey, let's be honest -- it's Chanel. Just holding the pretty crystal-looking tube (that never gets gooey) feels princess-like.

Not long lasting
by stonemariam (54 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTrusted ReviewBeautiful colors and shimmer, but it doesn't last long at all. Within a few hours I have to reapply. April 20, 2008, 5:29 pm21 of 23 people found this review helpful.

A lip gloss that lasts
by maggiecat (44 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTrusted ReviewYes, it's expensive. But if you like the look and feel of gloss and get tired of re-applying it every minute, this is the gloss for you. My job involves A LOT of talking, and this is the only gloss I've ever tried that has staying power. The gloss also conditions your lips - great protection as we head into winter here - ...and comes in quite a few colors, virtually all of them wearable and flattering. The deeper ones can be worn alone, but I also like to layer them over lipstick. Chanel salespeople at department stores are usually very helpful in finding shades for you. Even if you're on a budget - try one of these as opposed to a bunch of cheaper ones. You won't be sorry. October 26, 2007, 8:53 am9 of 9 people found this review helpful.

One of the best glosses on the market
by Lesera128 (2 reviews)Chanel glossimers are just about the best lip gloss you can buy on the market. While they are a bit on the expensive side with an average cost of $25-ish dollars, you can use it daily and it will last almost forever. Chanel has a nasty habit of creating wonderful colors in their seasonal collections for the Glossimer ...that are Limited Edition colors. If you see a color you like, buy it ASAP as once the colors are gone, they are gone. Each holiday season, you can also usually find a miniset of glossimers that will let you try several colors somewhat inexpensively when you consider what their fullsize big brothers cost. Most of the sparkley colors are truly sparkle-filled. However, some of the best traditional colors are Blizzard (a pinky-nude brown) and Paillettes (a light and sparkley-filled pink color that looks great with pale skin).~ October 17, 2007, 9:31 pm8 of 8 people found this review helpful.

New Must Have!!!
by Scotland0303 (10 reviews)I cannot believe how great this gloss is. I have the worst, crustiest lips on the planet - or used to. I have tried every gloss and lip balm imaginable. This is the first gloss that isn't overly sticky, does NOT have a gross taste, stays on longer than most, and CONDITIONS my lips. I bought Twinkle #11 only because The ...Chanel counter at Harrods didn't have my first pick in stock. However, I'm not unhappy because this colour is great on me. I completely recommend this product esp. for those that suffer from crusty lip syndrome like me but want to remedy it in style. If I could rate this product an 11 I would, but I will just have to give it a 10 for now. April 5, 2008, 5:19 am5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Expensive but worth it...
by calicokitty (162 reviews)Top 100 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI have Coral Reef and Pagoda - wonderful for most skintones (I have yellow undertones). These stayput for hours and it gives your lips a wonderful shine without being too glittery. Nice texture and beautiful color selection. Sleek packaging too. What's not to love? (well, maybe the price) February 14, 2008, 1:52 am5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Chanel Glossimer in Spark
by Chiara (3 reviews)As a college student, I really have to judge if an expensive product is worth the price. After my trip to Saks New York this summer, I decided that Chanel's Glossimer is worth every penny. I chose to get Spark (absolutely gorgeous color that can work on most anyone), and have received compliments from just about everyone wh...ile wearing it. My mother (who is completely against make up, period) even told me it was a beautiful color and insisted upon trying it on! October 18, 2007, 6:52 am5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Spark
by clee1972 (3 reviews)I like this gloss because it's not too sticky and easy to get off. However, I would suggest going to the department store to see which colors you like. I bought Spark because it looked like a nice candy apple red online. When I received it, it looked more like a copper. The color was still pretty and looked good on me. But ...I don't think I would've bought it had the tube shade matched what I saw on my computer screen. Overall, it is a good gloss but the price is a bit much even if it's Chanel. From a chanel fan
by malibum (5 reviews)Chanel glosses come in amazing colors. If you are looking for a bit of sparkle to your lips and don't want to look like a pre teen doing it,,, go with Chanel. #15 Spark gives you the perfect touch of red for those of us who are not brazen or daring enough to go with the full red mouth look. #11 Twinkle will work on anyon...e at anytime. It looks great over a shade darker lip liner for a very natural fuller looking lips or can be applied on its own for that "I'm a movie star out doing common everyday chores yet still look like a million" look. Pricey but pretty lip gloss
by superann (20 reviews)Trusted ReviewI have a Glossimer in the color Sirop, a creamy (non-shimmery) coral. The color is bright yet not super orangey; more like a light peachy pink. It has decent staying power and is almost sheer (won't block out the natural color of your lips unless you glop on a thick coat). The color is very pretty and I would probably buy i...t again if I ever used this one up. But it is very very expensive for a lipgloss, and I don't think it's totally justified because it's not the most moisturizing gloss I've worn, it can sometimes apply unevenly (especially when reapplying after a few hours), and it sometimes looks too sheer. I've also tried this in Coral Reef, which I returned because although it was a pretty coral (mostly orange) color with shimmers, on my lips, it just looked like clear glittery gloss. Best Gloss Around!
by BruinHeather (10 reviews)I love this lip gloss and carry at least 5 with me in my purse at all times! Pagoda and Constellation are my favorites (but I have almost the whole collection)! The glittery ones have such fine glitter that they make the lips look shiny and wet in the sunlight. The colors are gorgeous, and the texture is divine! If you've n...ever been "in love" with your lip gloss, you HAVE to try one of these from Chanel. You'll fall in love! February 22, 2008, 3:48 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.
