Clinique's Happy to Be Body Cream, a so-so lotion, is great for layering beneath the citrus-y, floral Happy to Be fragrance if you want to help the scent last all day. While it's not the "luxurious cream" it claims to be, the lotion sinks in quickly to hydrate, offering decent moisturization for normal skin types. Skin doesn't appear "dewy" or "shimmering," but carries the pleasant Happy to Be scent -- reminiscent of an orange grove -- for a couple of hours.

    Good fragrance, not so good as a moisturizer

    This is great for layering the Happy to Be fragrance... Neither really lasts on its own. However, they're both discontinued! Also... it's not quite the rich cream that I was hoping for. It's not a moisturizer I would use on its own... plus it's EXPENSIVE! May 25, 2008, 12:12 pm

    Love to layer with the Happy Cologne. Don't really feel over moisturized, but sometimes when it's really hot out, I wear just this lotion so as to not overpower. Nice to carry in my bag. August 16, 2009, 3:03 pm

    I like this! It has a light, citrusy, clean scent that lasts. I don't use it so much as a moisturizer and more for the scent, but it's not greasy or heavy like some are. I use this mostly as a hand cream. April 5, 2009, 3:41 pm

    More like a body lotion. Lots of scent. I am biased, I love the happy scents so I love this. Absorbs well. I love this but I am biased, if you like the "happy" citrus clean scents, you will like this. September 9, 2008, 3:34 pm

    Love this scent

    I love this scent so I love this lotion. It is great for just light hand hydration. This isn't an intense moisturizer. I have been wearing Happy to Be for 3 years now and hope that this product is not discontinued!! The price is a little high for lotion though. July 2, 2008, 7:28 pm

    Totally Uplifting

    This is one of my all time favorite indulgences. Not only does all of Cliniques products live of to their hype, but the wonderfully sweet and unique smell of Happy will make you walk around like your on cloud nine. I would suggest this product to anyone looking for the longest lasting, smoothest skin possible. Just be pr...epared to let everyone who will inevitably ask what type of perfume you are sporting know that you are actually only wearing a body cream. Clinique Happy Body Cream allows you to add a little well deserved pampering to your everyday beauty routine without all of the extra effort. Enjoy! June 11, 2008, 9:35 am
