This is a very good basic base & top coat combo. I like combo products that do all of the jobs they promose and this one delivers. Nice base for various polishes, the top coat is very smooth and shiny-the only pitfall is if you use too much on top-then it may peel pretty easily. This nail polish is amazing as most of the Sally Hansen products but anyways the nail polishes make your nails strong but not after you take it off. Although the colors are pretty and very natural and pastel there isn't a wide variety of color sadly. This nail polish doesn't chip easily either which is a huge plus. I don't really trust base/top coats - they're designed to do separate things, so I don't believe they can be effective in both uses.
