Don't use everyday!
Although I can't tell you how to regulate your skin care routine if you have one, I just recommend that you don't use a manual exfoliator everyday! You want to use it maybe once or twice a week (but no more), because you need to give your skin some time to heal and rebuild itself in between scrubs. It's a wonderful exfoliator that buffs off most of the dry flakes on my face. Like other Clarins products, I don't think it does a remarkable job at removing makeup (DEFINITELY steer clear from using it around the eye area!). I think a good cleanser can remove makeup well and still be gentle to use around the eye area to remove eye makeup (because at the end of the day it's where we still have the most makeup left over!). As far as its purifying claims, I'm not completely sold. Although I do like how my skin still feels clean after using this, it's still to be used no more than twice a week (or once a week if you have sensitive skin). The beads in this ARE silica beads, so I would be aware of that for sensitive or super acne-prone skin. However, I have not had a breakout due to this as of the moment. It's not my favorite exfoliator, it's still a good one. My favorite is Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Buffing Beads because that has jojoba beads as its manual scrubber and glycolic acid as its chemical exfoliant, so you get twice the exfoliating power.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

You don't need to exfoliate this much!

Very gentle!
I really enjoyed using this cleanser! I typically do not like orange scented products but this one smells great and very refreshing :D The exfoliating particles are really fine in this cleanser that I can use it nightly (with VERY gentle pressure), usually every other day. Really nice!
I have a sample size of this, which a good size. I wouldn't recommend using this daily, because of the orange extract. The overall experience of using this was really nice. Orange Heaven!!
I tried a sample of this product and it worked excellent. It is definitely the best exfoliating scrub I've ever used. It is pricey and I'm debating on whether to repurchase or not. Great product though, it got rid of all my dead skin. It made my face smooth. I would reccomend to try it. Dried my skin out
I don't think there is anything gentle about this exfoliating cleaner! Alot of Calrins products seem to have fruit acids in them?! I used this and the vital light day cream and I was left with under skin little bumps and a few spots. Having spent out all that money on a cleanser & moisturiser to be left with a reaction, I returned the products to the less than helpful sales assistant. ANy good...read more skin care or cosmetics company will refund or replace a product which has caused a skin reaction, as long as you haven't used loads of the product when you return it. Eventually, the sales assistant gave me store vouchers (as I had lost my receipt) I have sensitive and dry skin and have yet to find a clarins product which doesn't cause me to have skin problems after using it! Skin smooth, scent reenergizing, 3 steps in one, amazing
awsome exfoliator, makes my skin smooth and glowy without scrubbing my face raw. Perfect for being lazy once in a while as it takes off my makeup as well! Can't live without it!
This cleanser is THE BEST! It removes make-up and dirt/oil, it exfoliates gently, but effectively, and does not dry my skin out. (I tend to have truly combination skin - some areas that get very dry, others than break out.) I have tried others in an effort to save money, but have not found another that compares.
