I have tried many other fake tan items out there but most have given me an orange hue. This one doesn't do that at all. I am pretty fair skinned. It gives a beautiful natural color! One thing about it though is you have to be quick!! If you are slow it fades to quickly and you won't be able to see where you just went and end up crossing back over and then you will have darker places. Wear gloves! Your hands will stain and they don't stain pretty lol. Also try not to get it on your clothes because just like any other sunless tanner it will stain. I did notice some color in the bottom of the tub while I showered but it was only excess that wasn't absorbed into my skin and the tan was still beautiful when I was done. It's is definitely worth the money for me and worked quite well for me.
The one time I didn't have gloves what I did was applied it to my lower leg quickly then washed my hands, then I applied to my upper leg then washed my hands, applied to belly washed hands, chest washed hands, upper arm washed hands, lower arm and top of my hand and carefully washed my hands. I applied very quickly and thankfully I didn't have stains on my hands. Oh and be careful around ankles because it will tend to look darker in areas like that and if you have any dry areas on your body.
Despite all the cons of gloves, hand washing, staining, the pro of a beautiful color out weighs those by so much for me as I never go out in the sun because I want to be a hot grandma one day lol. May 13, 2008, 8:00 am

I felt it was easy to use and easy to remove from my hands after applying. I used it on my arms,legs and chest. It did not take long to dry and the look was very natural. To remove it from my hands I just used soft liquid cleanser and finished off with soap. To apply to the back of my hands I just put some on the top and rubbed it in. December 7, 2007, 8:10 pm

With the season quickly approaching fall/winter i turn to this every year to keep myself in a summer frame of mind. A little goes a long way and the color is very true to the way I tan. My skin is moisturized and feels soft when using. I admit that you do have to wash hands very well after application,but thats the only drawback I have found. September 30, 2008, 12:20 pm

It does take some time to thoroughly apply but it is worth it1 It gives you a nice glow right after application and within a few hours you have a nice, natural looking tan (It lasts a good 3-4 days). When I apply it to my body, I also mix a drop in with my facial moisturizer as well and my face gets a wonderful glow! A bonus is that it does not have that strong, unpleasant self tanner smell that most do. I do recommend exfoliating at least once a week to keep your skin smooth if you plan to keep a maintenance tan. Also, make sure you wash your palms well afterward too. August 28, 2008, 3:47 pm

I have never tried self tanner ever and was a little nervous because i always go to the tanning beds but this product is the best!!! I turned such a nice deep brown. i had no problems no streaking! ofcourse i used gloves thats a given. however i applied it to my hands with a cotton ball. It has a really nice almond scent but the DHA smell kicks in eventually not overwhelming though. I will definently be buy alot more. August 14, 2008, 5:09 am

One of the best self tanners I have used. It's brown color allows you to see any spots you have missed and it doesn't have an offensive odor to it. I apply mine with gloves then use cosmetic sponges to finish my hands and feet. It is such a believiable color. Use a mosterizer on you elbows, knees and heels. I have to say this is by far the best self tanner on the market. It gives a true sun kissed glow without looking orange and it lasts for days. It's colored so you know where it's going, so that means no odd spots. If you cut the self tanner with some lotion it lasts event longer. It also has a nice smell not the chemical smell you usually have with other self tanners. I only gave it a 9 and not a 10 because you do have to scrub your hands when you’re done. I've never had good luck with self tanners, they always made me look orangish (is this really a word? lol) and streaky. I like this tanner because it shows me where I have applied the lotion so there's no guessing. It leaves my skin looking bronze instead of orange. The smell is nice unlike some of the other self tanners. What I didn't like about this tanner is that it leaves dark spots on the knuckles of my hands, even after exfoliating. June 22, 2008, 8:23 pm
