Estee Lauder Pleasures, a sophisticated scent, makes me think of a summer garden party (or at least what I imagine a summer garden party would smell like). White lily dominates floral top notes including peony, followed by a base of sandalwood and patchouli that become obvious as the perfume dries down. Though it smells as described, fans of light, floral or citrus scents may find it too woodsy. The scent fades only slightly throughout the day, so spritz twice or less to avoid overwhelming the senses.

    I always get compliments when I wear Pleasures

    years this was the only fragrance that I wore. I have the complete set. To me, this is a light, clean scent but it is very feminine. I was standing in line at Starbucks and a gentleman came up and told me that I smelled incredible and asked what I was wearing... you can't get a greater compliment than this. May 15, 2008, 9:55 am

    I love this parfume. I feel so sexy every time I put it on its like an instant anti depressant for me. It makes me want to go out and let my husband show me off and men definatly notice me when I walk by them......... April 17, 2008, 6:43 pm

    Love Love!

    I actually borrowed this from my mom and I LOVE THE SCENT. Sophisicated, light, and perfect for special occasions OR EVERYDAY USE! It reminds me of a tea party in the garden.     Gentle hint of sophistication

    Pleasures has a gentle hint of sophistication. It's not overpowering in any one direction, and it's ladylike in that it doesn't take over a room when you wear it. It's very feminine, with the aroma of a light sweet muted garden in the air. I found it to attract people. Other woman asked what it was I was wearing, that's... when you know it's good.     I bought a perfume set with little bottles and I was pleasantly surprised how nice all of them smelled including this one. I'm really picky about perfume smells. I like light fresh perfumes. I've gotten some compliments on this one. August 13, 2009, 12:08 pm

    Used mine as bathroom freshner!

    I swear I actually used a $60 bottle of Pleasures for bathroom freshner! I love a good find when it comes to perfume because it is a very expensive trial and error process. You HAVE to spritz yourself a few times and GO HOME WEARING THE SCENT...to see if it smells as nice on you AFTER it blends with your own scent. I did no...t do that with this paticular bottle as I was already wearing another. I ended up wearing it the next night to work and literally tried to wash it off several times by the time I laid down to sleep, thinking it was all off, I had to get up and scrub it off in the shower and wash all my clothes. I think it smells terrible! I wear all others quite well as I only use not scented soap, laundry soap etc...so it wasnt mixing with any deoderizing soap or anything from me...SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY!
