Not for me
I used this because I have really dry sensitive skin and I couldn't take the residue left on my skin from the regular Dove soap bars. This is extremely thick and creamy, but it still doesn't wash off completely clean as I would like. Also, I had to shower with really warm water in order to break down the washaway because it would clog the drain. while I love most Dove products this just didn't show me anything I haven't seen from Dove before, yeah I liked it, but I didn't think it was any better or worse then the rest of there body wash line. very moisturizing

Not the best but still good
Nothing fancy, but that's why my mom likes this one. She likes it because she is used to their traditional scent. It may not stand out among all other body wash products at glocery stores, but it is good enough for me too. Great but Slippery
After the first time I used this my boyfriend was amazed at the softness of my skin. I love the clean scent and post-shower feel of my skin with this. However, it is a bit hard to wash off sometimes so its best to use a poof with it. Also it makes you very slippery in the shower and I definitely dropped the bottle and broke the cap off within 2 weeks. it's a big bottle that lasts for awhile and is definitely a great value. Excellent Body Wash!
I am so surprised to read some of the reviews where people experienced issues with this product. I have not used a lot of Dove products, but I have used a TON of different body washes and soaps, trying to find "the one." I wouldn't say this is it, but it is very good. At first, I thought the price point was a little high, but the bottle of the Shea Butter version lasted me about 3 months- not bad at all. It is extremely moisturizing. I use a pouf with it and a little goes a long way. I was surprised at just how much it lathers. It is a little thick so a pouf is a must; if any falls out of the bottle, it is almost impossible to rinse off in the shower without having to rub the spot. It's that thick! I don't think it is a bad thing, though. It is a quality wash and does the job, as it claims. It didn't leave my drain clogged at all, and my skin wasn't dry or tight, and no blemishes as another reviewer experienced. I have always tried to pinch pennies with body wash, even trying Suave and others to save money, but surprisingly, I think that this product is a much better value and a tremendously better quality as well. The only thing I would change about the product is to add a little bit more fragrance and drop the price point a little. Leaves skin soft and hydrated
In an attempt to save some money, I tried this body wash and loved it from the first shower! I won't name brands, but then specialty bath products are great, but unless I buy them during the twice a year sales, they're just too expensive. I have to admit that this Dove body wash might even be better than the more expensive brands. It gives a lot of lather with a relatively small amount, it's very hydrating, but doesn't leave a film on my skin. The fragrance is soft and light and disappates almost immediately, which is nice so it doesn't compete with any perfume I apply later. The price for the large bottle makes it really affordable.
